And reality is that builders DO NOT install electric outlets evenly and ideally following the standard. As a result, it fit just 1 out of 5 outlets I tried: in 4 outlets it DID NOT evenly adhered to the wall surface resulting in spaces between the wall and the cover.PRO:1) Design2) IdeaCON:1) smaller than standard cover2) assumes ideally flat survace of the wall.As result I can barely find an outlet which will fit: either space between wall and the cover or spaces at the edges of cover. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I like these. *by E***S on Reviewed in the United States on November 7, 2014* I hate trying to pry out the plug-in style of protectors so I bought a couple of these for the most used plugs. I've gotta say, I vacuum more often since I don't have any excuse not to. ;)The cover slides off very easily and can be taken off in the future. Without the cover, it stickes out from the wall a little bit, but we think it looks "tech-y" and is a different look that appeals to my macho husband. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the cover does slide off so easily. When I am doing my chores, it annoys me. My husband likes it, though. Since I am the one writing the review, it is my opinion that you get to see. heh heh ### ⭐⭐⭐ Can be opened easily *by C***W on Reviewed in the United States on September 22, 2013* I can slide the cover open with little effort, so I believe my toddler could do it too if she played with it enough. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/5033628-elecrosa-electrical-outlet-cover-ivory-discontinued-by-manufacturer](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/5033628-elecrosa-electrical-outlet-cover-ivory-discontinued-by-manufacturer) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-11*
