I now have 5 months experience of vacuum sealing, and an early lesson is that bags of differing sizes are needed for effective sealing. For large items sealer rolls give the best flexibility, but these are not suitable for small items mainly because it is difficult to get a full vacuum. Small bags are the answer.On the day the bags arrived I had two practical uses for them. I had seen a good quality cheese at a reasonable price, but too big for my immediate needs. I was able to cut a portion off and seal the rest. The other use was for black pudding slices. Both items sealed tightly and perfectly.If I carefully cut the bags on the seal when I need another portion of either product, the bag will still be usable to reseal any remaining contents.

I've used bigger and smaller bags but this size accommodates most portion sized items including soup etc. I ordered 300 laast time and will be ordering more in the future.

A very useful sized bag for use with my vacuum sealer for preparing small portions ready for freezing. Whether it is some vegetables from my garden or individual portions of meat they are perfect and so much easier than having to make bags off a roll.
