100M Twisted String Line Red Wheel Kite Reel Winder

This was a very popular aid and extension to flying the kite even higher - during the summer months. Good value and works well.

I bought this winder for my grandson's home made kite, it took a short while to get here, but well pleased with it, remarkable value and will generate hours of fun. Recommend seller.

String Line tends to gets behind the reel flanges if the line goes slack

A bit flimsy, but still worth buying!

You do not get what you pay for. The title clearly says " 100M Twisted String Line Red Wheel Kite Reel Winder " ... I needed 100m of line to float a helium balloon 100m so i could take a photo in the field. So I buy this 100m line, a £25 tank of helium and some large balloons. I go on location, fill 2 balloons with helium, emptying the whole tank, then reel them out on this 100m line. Turns out this line is 100ft, not 100m so a complete waste of a trip and also a waste of the helium and 2 balloons.

small handle that ould easily be pulled out of your hand, not sturdy. Tried in light wind and think it would not be suitable for flying a kite in stronger winds unless you have reaĺly strong dextrouse hands to grip the small reel and handle together and operate it. Not fit for purpose of kite flying.

I bought this for the string. The string is good for my purpose. I have no opinion on the performance of the kite reel.

Die Lieferung hat wie angekündigt sehr lange gedauert. Mein kleiner Neffe hat geduldig auf seine Verlängerung für seinen Drachen gewartet. Qualität ist super allerdings wäre es sinnvoll am Ende der Schnurr einen Knoten zu machen oder das Ende besser zu befestigen. Da beim Drachensteigen lassen der Drachen fast weg gewesen wäre, dadurch das es keine Befestigung am Ende gab.

Adquirí el artículo como complemento a una cometa de mis hijos, pero cuando me llegó, y pese a venir desmontado, venía partido el soporte del carrete. Lo he intentado pegar pero imposible. No lo devuelvo por el precio del artículo que me causaría más molestias de lo que vale.

I have made my own winders in the past and this is one of the cases where I should have made my own again but I decided to try out this plastic one and it is very flimsy.I try to make my reviews as honest because we all work hard for our money.

Flimsy, but much safer than winding the kite string by hand. Most modern kite string is very thin, and it is possible to cut yourself on it when the wind blows. This reel helps solve that problem.
