The separate electronics compartment is great. you don't feel the laptop up against your back even when the bag is full. That compartment also makes it easy when you get to airport security as you can just empty one compartment instead of lots of other compartments, if you don't fly with too many fluids you can get a small zip lock bag with your toiletries in the top of the laptop compartment. Fits under plane seat fine when full.Can happily get two days worth of clothes in the main compartment of you don't carry documents around.Lots of other storage around for other things that get carried around with a work bag (chargers note pads and pens). The small front zip pocket is perfect for a site pass.Build quality is good.

I needed a backpack for general use. I often need to carry my laptop around and I also use a backpack for carrying the heavy items from my shopping. This fits the bill. The laptop compartment is good as are the other compartments. I fit a decent amount of shopping in and it doesn't look too bog for a daily backpack (although I wouldn't want to go any bigger).Important for me is the chest clip as I always find with backpacks that one strap slips off my shoulder no matter how tight they are. This has one although it feels a little bit cheap and is fiddly. It seems to need to be inserted at the perfect angle otherwise, even though you think you have it in, it refuses to clip. A bit annoying.My other minor criticism is there are too many little slots and pouches in a couple of the compartments as things can get trapped when you put them in. This merely reflect what I use it for and I'm sure others will be happy with them.Before this I had two Karrimors which were great but, in both cases, the zip eventually broke ruining an otherwise perfectly good backpack so I decided to go for something a bit pricier in that hope of avoiding that fate! So far this is fine although it is early days!Overall it is good although it is pricey and, for the price I paid, the fiddly chest strap is annoying. Having said that it's a minor complaint and I'm happy to continue using it.

I'm usually a trecking/hiking rucksack kind of guy but wanted something a little more stylish. Having all the compartments and a couple of larger ones were a must. I didn't want cheaply made so went for a brand I've grown to love and trust.This bag ticks every box for me. It's very stylish for any student or adult. It's quality is so obvious. It's extremely comfortable to wear, especially the two extra straps you can tighten on the shoulders make all the difference. My son is in ore and I've had to order another one for him.It's an amazing turn around for Berghaus to make such a smart, stylish rucksack that even my 14 and 13 year old sons have asked me to get for them. I'm over the moon and my searching for the perfect rucksack is over.Easy 5 stars.

Really like this bag. Was easily able to travel with laptop, tablet, nintendo switch, powerbank, neck pillow, snacks, passports and other travel essentials. Added bonus it has two water bottle pockets. Great to carry one for you and one for your kid.

As the title says, this really does hold a lot more stuff than what it appears to hold just looking at the exterior.Comfortable to wear and sturdy even at load.Would be five stars if the backpack was actually waterproof.

Great rucksack, excellent quality of materials, well thought and robust. Separate compartment for laptop is a game changer during airports security check. Highly recommended.

I bought this to carry a Surface tablet and a Dell Laptop plus a paper notepad and some cables for commuting on the train but didn't want it look too "outdoorsy" so this fitted the bill. Good quality and discrete and comfy with my tech secured. Carry handle very sturdy. Stands up on its own and, fun fact, it has a little gap in the back so you can plug headphones etc into a phone in the bag if you want to. Big fan of Berghaus bags as they have a nice balance between use, looks and price point and this one reps all three.

So many compartments. Can take all essentials for the office, and for a weekend away. Very sturdy. Straps and backpack sit nicely over shoulder and back, making for a comfortable journey. So far very durable.
