These leaf scoops do exactly what it states on the product description.I am afraid that I have deducted two stars on the basis that I feel that at this price point they should be made of stronger material, which whilst ok, is just that "ok" and therefore I feel that they do not represent good value for money at 19.77, which I paid, but having just checked the price (13th March 2017) they are advertised at £39.99 - someone is being a bit optimistic. Only time will tell of course, but for me these are a three star item based on price. I think £9.99 would be represent better value.In use, yes they pick up leaves, but as far as transferring garden waste to a shredder, I fear that the funnel must be significantly larger than the one on my Draper shredder as they are certainly not suitable for that. All in all very much a three star item.

We've tried a number of cheaper options on leaf scoops that have either been uncomfortable to use, or just plain don't get the job done through the use of poor plastics and/or design.These win on both counts and well worth an extra few pounds. The cleaning of leaves has been much easier this year (especially when coupled with something like the Bosmere G185 Bin Bag Loader and some decent bags - Try the EcoBag 50 Heavy Duty Refuse Sacks)Plus they've got the word Hulk in the title so you, erm I mean your small child, can pretend they are a super hero whilst cleaning up!

As previous reviewers have said, it can be a little awkward on the backs of hands when picking up heavier growth, but it's perfectly adequate for flowers/petals and leaf litter.I think the product itself would benefit from more pronounced teeth on the leading edge.

This is the 3rd product of this type that I've bought & so far it looks the strongest. I've only given it 3 points though as it's really uncomfortable on your wrist bones and even wearing a thick coat the plastic digs in. Am looking at some sort of rubber lining to try and sort this out. The other reason for 3 points is the curved edge, which makes picking up on a flat surface more difficult.

These arrived on time. I got them as a Christmas present, and they were well received by the person I gave them too. They have used them already and have said that the leaf scoops worked very well. So happy all round with the purchase. :)

More a jokey present for the hubbie as we have an oak tree in the garden which produces a lot of leaves and I hate raking them up so he mainly does it

Received the scoops on time and well packaged as usual from Amazon. Having purchased several sets of scoops described as heavy duty which all subsequently broke within a few uses I ordered these hoping they were better. I am not disappointed they are sturdy in design and build and the hand position is very good. At the price I paid I may have found the solution.

I was fed up picking up handfuls of leaves. I spotted this item on Amazon at the end of the season so have not used yet in anger but have tried them on . Very comfortable and a great design. I am sure that these scoops will prove their worth. Great service and I am certain that this firm will do well..
