Learn to Knit on Long Looms

I love it , its so easy to use now that I have got into it a bit more. I was a bit confused at first because I thought the illustrations did not give each part of the process in full, I was a little disappointed that they only gave one way of casting on, I found another way of doing it in another book, so I worked by using two books, when I got more confident I found THE LEARNINGBook so much easier to follow

Easy to follow instructions Not as much a fiddle as I first thought knits up well and evenly Going to recommend to my fellow knitters for a change of project (if we can put our knitting needles down for long enough!)

If like me you have never used a knitting loom before, it gives good how to do info. Bit disappointed that only straight knitting like scarves were given though as I'd like to have had some childrens knitted tops.

Maybe it is just me but these patterns do not seem to work on the recommended loom ie Knifty Knitter as the gauge is too wide. I tried to make the check blanket with Aran and long loom but it was just too loose. Anyone else tried and actually made something? I have now ordered a narrow gauge loom and will try that. Wish me luck. Knifty Knitters are only available second hand now mainly in US but looking at photo the gauge is same as the loom I am working on not narrow gauge. Just does not work out. V puzzling and disappointing.

Easy to read patterns, just right for beginners, could have a few more but oh well.

The instuctions in this book are very clear and easy to follow. This is also a good reference book for those that have some experience of knitting looms.

The book "Learn to Knit on Long Looms" by Annie Bipes starts with explaining the terminologies used for loom knitting. Casting the yarn, how to make the stitches, finishing the cast-on edge and binding off and to remove knitting from loom are all explained well with supporting pictures, which is what newcomers find helpful. There are 17 projects, out of which 5 are for beginners. But for doing these projects, you need to have a Long Loom and the instructions are very clear for using a long loom.

Non ho ancora avuto modo di cimentarmi se non per delle prove, ma il risultato ha soddisfatto le mie aspettative. Peccato non si trovino libri in italiano con schemi da realizzare. Sono molto soddisfatta del mio acquisto
