Stop moaning. It is really very very easy and very very good and fun!
I am not really a kitchen gadget person. . but the manual version I had was a bit of a pain to use. This gadget is simply excellent. Does exactly what it’s supposed to. The Tower has 3 (most others have 2) shaping blades it is simple to set up simple to clean and easy to put away. I can only assume people who gave it bad reviews did not read instructions, used too much pressure or used v soft fruit veg. Eg cucumber been in fridge too long or got frozen then thawed. I’ve done carrot parsnip cucumber courgette squash beetroot apple pear even hard cheese .and am looking for new challenge. Buy with confidence read instructions don’t press too hard or use v soft produce! There’s not much that can go wrong ..I read almost all reviews. And can only guess why some folk do bad reviews ?for fun or self importance. This is confusing for new buyers and almost made me want to leave it. V v glad I did get it. Great value good machine

Difficult and wasteful.
I don’t like giving bad reviews but I have to say this product is disappointing. I have had it for six weeks now and thought it was a matter of my technique in using it but I’m afraid the problem lies with the product. I find the spiraliser motor unit which has the button you need to press continuously in order to turn the vegetables difficult to manage. Quite a lot of pressure is needed. The unit itself does not completely fit into the portion of the spiraliser are that holds the grater attachment which means there is quite a lot of waste left behind that you cannot spiralise. If you use the ribbon attachment the amount of waste is unacceptable and forms a large cone shape. I also found it difficult to keep the courgettes or whatever attached to the unit as it turned meaning it moved and wobbled instead of making nice clean spirals. Manufacturers should go back to the drawing board on this one

It doesn't do spaghetti in long lengths, but can do it in short lengths, but we hoped it would do longer lengths.
This is a brilliant machine. We had a manual one before that was a bit restrictive and required a lot of manual power. This one is superb in that is has several settings and can do a variety of vegtables and fruit. The one warning I would give it is this:It doesn't do spaghetti in long lengths, but can do it in short lengths, but we hoped it would do longer lengths.

Dis-auust-er
Disaster! What a waste of food. Once you successfully spiral a vegetable or fruit you're left with 11mm un-spiralised. Didn't try the long blade, it'd be more wastage. Also your veg really needs to as big as the blade housing (65mm or 2.5"), any smaller and it falls over and becomes mush.If the veg needs to be cooked before spiralling be sure to under cook it or it'll just mush up into pulp. The assembly is not very secure either. There's a collar that's meant to contain the stalk but it just becomes loose and in the way.Spiralling may be a fun way to substitute noodles but it is such a palaver. Marks out of 10? 1 dis-auust-er darling!!

I had great hopes for this Spiralizer but to be honest I ...
I had great hopes for this Spiralizer but to be honest I was disappointed. The veggies you put in don't stay put even when 'cut to size' and spiked with the hand held piece, it was wobbling all over the place. Consequently it was difficult to get economical use from it as there's always a large chunk that doesn't go through at the end. I tried the shredding blade and in the end it was easier to use my hand held shredder! I used the spiralizer blade and managed to make some parsnip and carrot crisps but again there was only about two thirds of the veggies getting through leaving waste at the end. The best part was using the recipe for veggie pancakes in the handbook, but like I said I had to hand shred the ingredients! If I'd known beforehand I'd have spent my money on a decent cookbook instead. Sorry but that was my experience.

Selected body parts no longer being added to Salad.
Wonderful, now I can make coleslaw easier. I am of the generation who grin and bear it, but was really struggling when it came to grating carrots. Between nearly slicing off my fingers with one tool, to giving additional protein with the other, I was buying ready made salad stuff and this has taken the painful processes out of it.

Didn't so much spiralize than obliterate!
This seemed to be a good idea when I first tried the machine. You drop the cutting tool in, lock it into place, add vegetable of choice, I tried carrot and courgette and hey presto, spiralized veg. The second time was oh so different. In went a courgette, press the button and oh what on earth.... nothing went into the bowl and all that happened was the spikes that hold the vegetables had kept going round beating the courgette to pulp. I tried three times, cutting the veg to make it straight, making sure I applied the right pressure and it just left me with a mess to clear up and nothing worth eating.I would not recommend buying this, its not worth the money, in my honest opinion.

Make vegetables more interesting
This shredder allows you to cut up vegetables into more attractive shapes, and it’s really good for doing coleslaws. It’s a very good way of shredding vegetables and making them look more presentable. For instance, you can cut carrots up into very long spirals, virtually impossible to do with a knife. Basically, you just attach your vegetable to the grip and press it down onto one of the three interchangeable blades. You can make wide ribbons, long spirals, and shredded spirals. The bowl comes with a lid so you can put the rest of it in the fridge to keep it fresh. You do end up wasting a bit of the vegetable as the end bit gets stuck in the grip and won’t all go in the shredder.
