It was quite thick and I stupidly used my sewing machine which sadly damaged the machine! So i advise doing it by hand with a strong needle, after which it is very effective! **Q: How heavy is a metre** A: Hi - I couldn't tell you exactly, but it's a really good weight and very easy to work with and sew.
