Beautiful when done... Installation takes money and/or time
I knew what I was getting into when I bought this since I had read a ton of reviews on similar items... and my daughter had a very similar one installed in her house....which of course made wifey want one! If I wasn't in my 70's ... and didn't have to remove an existing 50 lb entryway fixture to install this one...I probably would have installed this with a buddy. So instead I hired electricians...took 3 of them 2 1/2 hours to get the old fixture down and mount the new fixture...I'd be completely broke if I had them hang the crystals as well. Naturally they had to install a couple of 2 x 4's in the attic to mount the fixture to. ( The set comes with 4 concrete mounts...and the instructions call for installing 4 plastic drywall anchors and screws they say are included... and are not. Who in their right mind would hang a 59 lb chandelier from drywall screw inserts!?!?). We used eight 3" wood screws to mount through the drywall and into the 2 x 4's.So with that bill paid, I got a hold of my handyman and his helper to help me hang the crystals. First problem... finding a place to rent a 16 ft. step ladder from. You could use scaffolding, an aerial lift or a stepladder. Scaffolding and an aerial lift are easy to find at rental outfits...but using them has there own sets of issues...and the cost is a lot more. Lowes, home depot, and a lot of equipment rental outfits don't rent 16' stepladders. Finally found one. Took the three of us just under 7 hours to install. My entry way is about 15' x 8' at the narrowest point. The instructions say start at the center and work your way out. That might work if you have room to move an aerial lift or a 16' step ladder around, but not if you don't. If we started in the middle and tried to work out, we would have been blocked from finishing half the outside rings. So we started from the outside working to the middle on one half and then did the 2nd half from the middle to the outside.Having to hang them in this order added time....why? Because of the way the wires are packaged. They come rolled, two wires of the same letter/number in a small plastic bag. This was no big deal for the lettered wires which go everywhere except for the outside rows that have all different length wires that hold the diamond shaped crystals. For those the wires are numbered 1 through 53, also packed 2 to a bag of the same number. Each "half" of the chandelier takes 1 of each number. So I had to open each bag, unroll / untangle the two wires of a number, then reroll one and put it back in the numbered bag so we could find it when working on the second "half" of the chandelier. As far as the product itself... It is well packaged, each crystal is separately packed in a small zip lock bag and then placed in large molded Styrofoam packaging. About 10 spare crystals of each type are included...I had 2 diamond crystals which were cracked near the hanging holes in them. As stated earlier, the stainless steel wires come packed 2 to a bag and the small crystals are already on the wires. The instructions include a diagram showing where each letter / number wire goes, and shows the round crystals get attached to the lettered wires and the diamond ones to the numbered ones. The instructions also include a piece count of each wire and crystal. I recommend you take inventory and arrange the wire bags in order before starting installation. The round fixture itself is well made and is protected with a very adhesive protective film and also packed in the styrofoam. Most of the wires unrolled without too much tangling.. but about 15% were pretty tangled up. There are 243 wires to unroll, mount the large crystals on and hang. (Fingers get a little sore mounting the crystals). I've seen other similar fixtures that brag the wires are already attached, rolled up and taped to the fixture - supposedly saving you time. They also roll up multiple wires together. You still need to attach the large crystals I would much prefer untangling the wires on the ground than over my head on a ladder! Untangling the wires and attaching the large crystals is what takes the time. Hanging the wires on the fixture hooks takes nothing. The only thing I think could be improved would be to roll up and pack each wire in a separate bag. Quite a bit of time could be saved by that. Also proper mounting instructions for the inexperienced should be given before someone pulls their ceiling down! If you've got a couple of teenagers and are ok with wiring up the fixture and installing a couple of 2 x 4's you can install this for cheap.... But still with a lot of time Otherwise be prepared to pay!

Beautiful once installed!
The media could not be loaded. I am in love with this purchase- absolutely changed my entry and made it stunning! As everyone said, It took forever to find an electrician even willing to take on this job. My electrician rented a scaffold and had 3 helpers with her for a total of 4 people. It took them 5 hours after setup to get this installed. It also cost slightly more than the cost of the chandelier to get the job completed. That said, I still think that overall it’s much cheaper than what you can find in a lighting gallery - making the overall purchase and install a value compared to the more expensive alternative. My husband installed a dimmer once the job was complete and I would highly recommend it to control the mood the light gives based on its output. It’s gorgeous on and even off during the day as the sunlight hits it.Would highly recommend, but know what you are signing up for with the purchase. It’s either a long DIY job or a costly outsource. But it’s absolutely beautiful! Hope the pictures and video (to show the dimmer) help.

Beautiful Chandelier
This is very beautiful once installed but it takes a lot of time. Make sure you have the patience for it. I love it and worth all the time that was spent.

Beautiful chandelier. Only 9 lights.
Beautiful chandelier. Required 4 hour professional installation by 3 people. Only complaint is that it has only 9 lights instead of 14 as advertised.

Toooo beautiful
It’s really not that hard to follow the instructions after the base is set up. The hard part was putting the base up and wiring because it was so heavy. All in all, it took 8 hours total to put together. Definitely worth it! It looks beautiful! I have a 20 foot ceiling and got the 8 foot one and it is just perfect! Also, the customer service is top notch! I already purchased a second chandelier from them for my breakfast area!
