It's a quick and easy product if you know what you're doing. My advice would be to study some YouTube videos as the instructions printed on the packaging are poor to say the least, hence 4 stars instead of 5.

As others have said, perfect for a one off job. Much easier than old style blocks, very tidy!

You can get large packs of these connectors reasonably cheaply elsewhere but the average home DIYer will never need that many. This is just the right set for wiring in a new ceiling lamp when it does not fit to a standard ceiling rose. The connectors are much easier to use that terminal blocks. Do all the ceiling connections first and then when it comes to putting the light up you just need to push the wires in and they snap connect. Much easier than screwing in terminals at ceiling height.

Having struggled to know what to do with the wiring mess that was the multi-switched ceiling rose I was swapping out for something more conventional in the upstairs bedroom, I eventually found this. Just the job, and at a very reasonable price given the hassle and annoyance it saves.

This is a handy little collection of connectors but it would be great to have better instructions included in the pack instead of having to squint at the cover of the tiny paper bag.

not easy to connect wiring

Very useful - used this on a rose circuit when fitting a philips LED flush light. keeps things in order and very methodical and safe. Very good product.
