I've had two pairs of these shoes for a few months now and I do quite a bit of walking. At first although quite comfortable I found a bit of rubbing, but after a few more weeks, they seem fine. My one criticism is with the treads, which after walking though anywhere that you pick up mud seem rather difficult to get clean, it may be because some of the treads gaps are quite close. This is a minor complaint. Overall they are good value. These shoes do also give me confidence against slipping. I have had no problems with water resistance, they seem quite good. I find it hard to buy shoes in my size and width and will be buying these again in future.

These shoes are described as extra wide with a good non slip sole and being waterproof. They really are extra wide - I struggle to buy shoes at size 13 and wide enough and these really fit the bill. The sole is not especially "non slip" - don’t expect to have extra grip across wet or mossy stones but they are fine for narrow, rough forest tracks. Sadly, my pair are definitely not waterproof but wearing them with waterproof socks manages that. Overall, especially at their price point, they are very well sized and comfortable for forest and hill paths and they’re showing as very durable with no signs of scuffing or early wear. I’ll buy them again and recommend them for big, active, feet…..

I have only worn these shoes once (delivered yesterday) but they seem to be very comfortable and what I was looking for. I've had Achilles tendinitis for over a year and my previous shoes aggravated the condition.So far these shoes give me more room and less rubbing on my heels.....fingers crossed it stays that way!!!

First time I tried the Amazon “try before you buy” scheme. It’s really helpful buying foot wear when the brand and size have not been worn previously. This FitVille men’s trainer wide fit is very comfortable and great value for money. Will definitely buy again.

Worn these every day for dog walking since October and in anything other than light rain they are not waterproof. In addition they have now split along the seam as can be seen in the photo.On a positive note they are very comfortable but the previous comments take precedence over this!

I ordered three sets on Amazons "try before you buy" scheme. The others were 3 times as expensive but were very narrow fitting.These are now my go to dog walking shoes and have so far not let any water in and we have had quite a bit. So lots of puddles and muddy areas.

Very comfortable, and wide enough to accommodate my 2E feet. However, the claim to being waterproof should be ignored: the materials are waterproof but the tongue is not attached to the upper. For this reason, rain can and will percolate through the gap: you will end up paddling home...Great in dry weather!

I am wearing them for the first full day. Normally I experience a "break in" period with new shoes. These are comfortable from the very start. The X Wide is truly wide and my toes are not being compressed. I looked them over carefully when they arrived and they appear to be well made. If any issues arise, I will return to this review and edit as necessary. So far, so good!

These are a great shoe, width is proper for me and they are very comfortable. I whete them daily.
