Butterfly Colors and Counting (Jerry Pallotta's Counting Books)

I believe this book will become the "standard" color and counting learning book for parents and early childhood schools. A mix of exceptionally vibrant colors and textures, hypnotic backgrounds, very high quality board book materials, beautiful and realistic butterflies (their butterfly names are on the back cover), and a unique very simplistic design makes it better than any other early childhood counting book. All this, and these aren't even the best attributes. The best attribute is...the whole book overall and all together. Mark my words and remember I said this here - This book works so well. Children will walk or crawl around the house with it and will not want to put it down. It will replace the blankie or special toy. It's simplicity is so well done and captivating that children will be capable of learning colors, counting 1 to 10, and reading the color and number text quickly. There's even a cute poem on the back cover that young children will be reciting before long. Kirkus just gave this book a STAR REVIEW, which is only given to the best books of EXCEPTIONAL MERIT. Many of the world's best authors only dream of such a rating. OK, OK, there's got to be at least one negative - It's retail price is too low. It's perceived value may be undersold AND it will cause this book to always sell out so quickly. I really tried to find a negative :) Try to check it out in person if you can. The online views don't do it total justice.

Cute book for spring speech lesson

My son is 16 months old and obsessed with butterflies. This book is perfect because it also helps to familiarize him with colors! We love it.

It’s so simple I wish they would have gotten creative and done more numbers and colors or a story

This is a sweet book. My daughter is two and enjoys it immensely. We make up stories about the butterflies as we go along. The book itself is very basic, just pictures of different colored butterflies with the corresponding number in the picture shown. That's not a surprise considering the name of the book though! One cool feature of the book is that it has the detailed names of the butterfly types on the back cover. It a fun book to use your imagination and also great to teach numbers and colors. Highly recommended!

I bought this as a gift for my 2.5 year old. He loves butterflies. I like that he gets to enjoy the butterflies while learning colors and numbers. Exactly as described. Would recommend. It is a board book which we like since he's a little rough with his books.

My 3 year old loves this book! This book has actually helped her to learn her colors better! It has all the colors even pink is in there, but I really love how this book is small and it has all the colors so your little ones can practice. So happy I brought this book to add to our collection.

Quality is good but this book only has 10 pages. and the book size is too small unlike they showcased in their display.

My son loves butterflies so I decided to get this book. He enjoys reading this one as it has realistic vibrant pictures of butterflies and he is eager to look at the numbers on this book too! Beautifully made!
