Novus Acrylic Scratch Remover & Cleaner Plastic Polish kit with 6 Novus Mates Wipes

I needed to uplift a 40 year old acrylic bath / sink. Was dull and scratched. I used all three liquids. Just 1 and 2 on the sink, but the bath needed the 3rd (heavy scratches). I think as long as you don't expect some miracle this is a great product. In both cases the sink / bath really massively improved and looked so much better. The dull look was replaced with shiny glossy look. Some minor scratches can be buffed out, but fundamentally if the scratch is bad, it will stay in some capacity. What I was hoping for was a major uplift in the look - and this product delivered that. So the bath looks so much better, and the sink like new. For the price paid this is a great result - and I can confirm regular cleaning products failed to deliver this result.

I have a 3d printer with a clear acrylic top a bit like a record player, which had quickly become pretty scratched up, inside and out. I decided to deal with it and found that there is an abundance of choice when it comes to scratch removal for acrylic! After doing a bit of research I chose this Novus system and I'm really glad I did. Very easy instructions to follow and the 3 different 'strengths' of polish made it a pretty easy and quite enjoyable exercise - by the end you could barely tell there had ever been scratches on the lid in the first place, really fantastic results. Well recommended, and the included wipes are excellent!

Honestly, I was a little lost in the fantasy that this product might be complete magic and an almost instant fix for plastic scuffs and scratches, but it's not as easy as I'd hoped to achieve such results. It definitely cleans up light scuffs/scratches, and does a great job of polishing and de-clouding after a couple of applications of #1 and #2, but I don't think anything short of sandpaper is going to hide a notable scratch. Maybe it's possible to remove them with #3, but it might require hours of re-applying to see those kinds of results. I certainly haven't had the chance or patience to test it thoroughly yet, but I couldn't see any significant change after a few applications of it. Something you should really take into account is that the polish mates included are not immune from creating additional scratches, and are marketed as "abrasion-resistant", so I would advise you get yourself some real microfibre cloths for working on important projects. Even following their own instructions for cleaning CDs, I ended up with extra scratches on an unimportant disc I was using to trial the product. So overall, it's not as great as I'd hoped, but I would definitely buy it again for the de-clouding of clear plastics alone.

First of I have to be honest, I did not use this product as recommended by the manufacturer, I am using it to repair some damaged CDs and DVDs that looked like they where scratched beyond repair; they are made from pollycarbonate and is not on the list of recommended plastics. after a lot of polishing, starting from bottle 3 to 1 I got the CD and DVD to play perfectly, only leaving the deepest scratches slightly visible, as these two discs are irreplaceable I did not want to push my luck and use a more aggressive compound first, I am going to try the paste on some less important discs but start off with toothpaste ( it works ) and end off with bottle 3 then 2. I would recommend rinsing the disc in soapy water after using bottle 2 and rinsing under cold water only using your fingers to remove any residue, then carefully pat down with a paper kitchen towel before the final clean and polish with with the liquid from bottle 1. Please, please, please the first time you try this experiment on a disc you don't rely want.

It did not remove very minor abbrasions on clear acryllic surface . (As seen on utube video.) Not too happy with purchase.

Ok I'm really impressed! Really improved the heavy scratching on our volvo touch screen. Started with the fine scratch formula but didn't make a difference initially. So moved on to the heavy scratch formula and that did the trick. Spent about 10 mins rubbing with the provided cloths and could see a real improvement. Then used a small automatic polishing machine which helped too. Finally finished with the protective solution and I have to say it's back to almost new looking. Not 100% but probably 95%...

not as described, cannot clean scratches

My wife is a piano teacher and we recently bought a new high gloss piano that wasn't cheap! A few weeks in and one of her pupils took some music off the stand but repeatedly scratched it with her ring. Three scratches that were very noticible right in the middle of the piano. Anyway I bought this as a punt before I called in the professionals to fix it. I applied the number 2 on the high gloss black wood and only used a tiny amount to start with. The results were incredible! I did the procedure about three times but cautiously, the marks are gone. I challenged by wife to find the scratches and she can't, neither can I! The finish is amazing. The picture shows where the scratches were. I only wish I took before shots. For the money this product is just amazing value. Worth a punt! Very very happy!

To make long story short i scratch the bumper of the trunk in my car. Thought would be impossible to fix but anyway decided to give it a try. I have cleaned the place with scratches to avoid cinrackting any dust or other abrasive materials. I srarted with number 3 as scratches were really deep. I was constantly polising for half of an hour according to instructions but it didn't show any positive signs, so i thought to continue as nothing to lose. After an hour scratches appeared smoother and that is where i believed and continued. In 2 hours scratches completely gone. The process is quite long so be patient. Will be again for sure!

30 Euro für Nichts? :-( Bin sehr enttäuscht. Habe 2x das 2er, und weil das nichts brachte,1x das 3er genau nach Anleitung verwendet. Es ist bestenfalls gleich geblieben, mir kommt es aber schlimmer vor. Sehr ärgerlich. 1 Stern gewählt, weil ohne nicht ging.
