This is not a High End green tea, - but for the price, it's easily a VALUE Item. It says this Tea is from Hunan Province, Mainland China, - and to me is a true Green Tea, - with No Bitterness, - does NOT taste like "Cut Grass", - and is Good Enough to be my new GO TO Daily Green Tea choice. I use 1 bag in 8 fluid ounces of +160F water, - and let it steep for 3 minutes, - yielding Good Tasting Green Tea, - with No Bitterness. This is an excellent Value item, - and I'll be ordering more again soon. FYI, Japanese Teas have become an "Endangered Species", - because Japan, as a Nation, has changed from drinking Green Tea, to COFFEE. And there is not enough Overseas Business to support operations. Result is Japanese Tea Farmers are going Broke, - unable to sell their High End Teas, - so many are just Removing their Tea Plants, - and Selling the Land to Real Estate Developers. The last major Corporate Japanese Green Tea Buyer is ITO EN, - but they only purchase the Very Cheapest Late Harvest Leafs. Nobody is buying the High End Tea Leafs of Early Spring Harvest, - making it impossible to continue operation. Leaving only Cheap Low End Green Teas in Plastic Botles from Vending Machines left. This HUNAN Green Tea is good enough to be my New Green Tea daily drink of choice. I initially was bummed these didn’t come with a string. However you simply drop them in and add water. and put in the microwave to heat up, so not having a string which also uses a small metal staple to secure the tag is perfect. The taste is clean. I do wish there was a little more caffeine in each cup but it’s a great value. Perfect way to start your day.

I was prepared to not like this tea - but I can now confidently sing its praises! I read previous reviews stating it wasn’t bitter. (That’s always been my biggest obstacle in drinking green tea; I haven’t indulged in years.) Based on the positive reviews, I took a chance in trying it again. I’m pleasantly surprised & happy to report that green tea - or TEELUX green tea - will now be a routine part of my day. There are times when I thoroughly enjoy being wrong - this is one of them - but don’t tell my family!

It's not the highest quality, and the flavor is "average." (I have green tea with a hint of peach, which I buy from The Screaming Bean in Aberdeen, and it is fantastic! Folks who drink a lot of brewed tea know great tea vs bad tea.) If you are on a budget and want to pay the lowest price for green tea that is at least good to drink or use as a base for green tea-styled drinks, this is worth it. Shelf life is pretty good for green tea, so if you plan to drink one a day, I recommend you save a few dollars more and grab the 200 counts. (I absent-mindedly grabbed two 100-count bags.)

it comes without a string which i actually love cause the bag just sinks to the bottom and diffuses into the water so nicely and evenly without even having to do anything and its sooo smooth and the flavor is so good i dont normally leave reviews but after having my first cup i had to cause this tea is genuinely so nice
