VESA Mount Adapter Bracket Compatible with Samsung Monitors U28D590D and S24D590PL

Wanted to wall mount my Samsung LUD28D59D in the bedroom as I don't use my PC anymore and didn't want to waste this fantastic uhd monitor so decided to use it as a tv. Resigned myself to having to make some kind of shelf/bracket to do this. I then stumbled across this on Amazon. Saved me a massive job! Arrived on time, beautiful piece of engineering and looks Perfect!

After i attached this to a two monitor stand i noticed how my Samsung monitor sat significantly higher than my other one, i had to fix this by attaching the adapter to my mount by only the top two screws which leaves it questionably secure. It also sits quite far ahead of where the mount is attached which makes it hard to make space for my second monitor. The adapter also wiggles, which makes setting specific angles a hassle. Visibly its also quite expensive, which is a bummer for having no alternatives besides the clamp designs. I did find the adapter to have a good build quality, it uses a strong material and i worry little about any of it breaking.

A little loose in the bracket to the screen, otherwise it is fine. Nothing you can not live with. Very fast shipping.

This vesa bracket does exactly what I wanted and needed....allowing me to mount a 28" Samsung monitor that otherwise lacked a vesa option. It allowed me to raise the monitor off the desk using a monitor arm, and also to do away with the space consuming and rather wobbly manufacturers stand. There are two points worthy of consideration when planning to purchase this (more shortcomings of the design of the stand connection by Samsung, than of this product itself). The design does bring the monitor forward slightly, meaning that it is not possible to push the screen as far back towards a wall as some others. My second point is connected to my first. If the monitor is relatively heavy (mine is, as stated above, a 28" Samsung, and it's worked out ok, but only just), as it pushes the monitor forward slightly, the monitor arm needs to be strong to make sure that the weight of the screen doesn't cause it to sag / droop. These points don't detract from my opinions of this item though, and I only mention them as things to be aware of when considering your purchase So overall, I think this is an excellent way to mount a non-vesa monitor on an arm or a wall if required.

The product is very good quality but I do fee a little ripped off paying so much for a monitor mount.

I hadn't even considered mounting my monitors when I bought them and so VESA compatibility was not something I checked for. I spend all day at my desk and it became apparent that monitor mounting was required for health reasons. These offered a quick and cheap solution to what could have been a costly problem. They arrived quickly, were installed in just a few minutes and the customer service was second to none.

Because of where this adapter ends up requiring you to mount your screen on a stand, my screen kept falling downward and wouldn't maintain the angle I set.

The stand of the monitor is (horizontally) away of the VESA mount, so the mass center changes much. For heavy monitors it is a problem as the brackets are supposed to directly connect the VESA mount to the monitor.

I used this for a Samsung non vesa compatible monitor. it is sturdy had did the intended job, by doing to the non-removable Samsung stand. only thing is that the monitor sits a bit high, would be great if the mount adapter had a longer neck (or adjustable) to align with other monitors. note: I'm using this to have 2 screen external monitor set up, just the one I use with this mount is about 1-2 inches higher). I would order again though. good product.

I was a bit worried since I hadn't heard of the seller before. But the product worked exactly as advertised. The only difficult part is removing the original monitor stand. I had too look this up, but there are good video's available that show you how to do this. Once that was done the instructions were quite clear on how to mount the bracket.

Similar to what some other people have said, there's some flex with this device (I feel like this is more Samsung's design fault than this adapter. This adapter does exactly what it is meant to do. I applaud them for creating this produce for a niche subsection of monitor users (just a weird quirk of those models of Samsung monitors, which are great monitors but no VESA mount is a weird addition). Thank you for making this and breathing new life in my old (but gold) Samsung monitor.

Voglio chiarire che questa staffa, unica tra l'altro a permettere il montaggio di un Samsung U28D590 su attacco vesa, è perfettamente progettata e costruita. Avevo letto recensioni terribili sulla fragilità, oscillazione, ma appunto essendo l'unico adattatore per questo tipo di monitor l'ho preso lo stesso. Posso ora confermare che non solo il materiale costruttivo è ottimo, la staffa risulta solidissima, molto grande e non oscilla di un solo millimetro. Il problema qual è? L'oscillazione di cui tutti parlano è nella struttura stessa del monitor, il quale ha una piccolissima linguetta metallica che va applicata e tenuta dentro la staffa tramite una semplice vite. l'oscillazione della staffa quindi è assente, ma è la piccola staffetta che fa parte del monitor a flettere in avanti. Per risolvere dovete inclinare l'attacco vesa posteriore di circa 12/15 gradi verso l'alto. allora avrete un monitor perfettamente verticale. Insomma consigliatissimo. Peccato che ce ne siano pochissimi in giro e sono reperibili solo da questa ditta americana. Io ho risolto alla grande.
