It's great for popping my back and helping my overall posture. I've been slouching to much so using this really helps. Also bonus as a self defense stick.

Like many, I spend way too many hours in front of my computer screen, especially since I am retired. This Pranayama stick helps pull the unused muscles back into better shape. I am 5' 7" and 140 pounds, so not a real big guy. The stick works for me, but for a larger or heavier person, the stick is going to be too short. The two pieces, when screwed together, make for a 26 inch Pranayama stick, which is pretty short.The finish is quite well done, although the grain of the two pieces don't match terribly well on the one I got. I don't have a lot of faith that the connecting screw will hold up well -- certainly not for a strong, muscular person who likes to push equipment to its limit.It is a good piece, but I question the durability. That, combined with the length of the stick reduces this from a potential five star rating to four stars.

As much as we sit all day ,this stick is so very needed. Stretching out with this stick feels so good and also helps keep my posture straight and strong. This stick is easy to use and so sturdy. It is beautifully designed. This is a great addition to your wellness collection. I feel better after using it. This is a excellent value for the money.

My wife is undergoing physical therapy for most of 2023 and always borrows my golf club to do stretch exercises. I saw this yoga stick which I thought was ideal for her as it was a narrow pole and short enough for her to work in her stretches.Upon opening the package, the pole comes in two pieces which you just screw them together and ready for use. I was disappointed with the lightness of the pole. The length is perfect but I feel the wood chosen doesn't have the proper density. It feels too light in my hands and if I were to place it on my back and stretch, I fear I would split the pole. For my wife, I think she can manage to use it for her needs but somehow durability of the pole is my concern.3 Stars!

Its not very durable

I have never had an item that has worked for posture. I mentioned it to the physical therapist, who is trying to get me to use a walker and tone my body to withstand my bone issues. I broke my leg, and I know I have worsening health issues. One problem is that I am too sedentary; I have scoliosis and a fused spine, so my back is out of alignment. It hasn't helped that I look down at my feet when walking because I broke my foot 8 years ago. So, my posture is a big issue in my back and neck health. I need help! Currently, we are working on squeezing my upper back to strengthen the muscles there. He doesn't know about this tool, but I will tell you. I wish I could use this instead of working directly with the PT for that exercise. This helps, and I feel I am targeting that area of the spine and surrounding muscles. However, I recommend doing what the PT says AND using this one unless he has a different plan that isn't inclusive, based on knowledge and experience.I can keep this clean or wipe it down if I need to. I would give this to someone who can use and store it. It is small in a bag folded up.This is an excellent value. I want to follow up on the exercises the PT has planned, but I might not be able to because it's painful. This item might help me do that same thing but in a more targeted way.Enjoy!

I got this for yoga and meditation and I don't know if I'm missing a part or not, but this is SOOOOO short that only my nephews and nieces (who are children) could properly use it.I really wish is was longer or included a piece to adjust the length because the quality is great.Still, I keep it by my front door as it makes a decent defense weapon.

So the stick itself is quality wood, really secure, love the 2 part feature. the issue for me is I am too big. I didn't take into account measuring myself and just looked at the picture and though that is a great idea. measure the width of your body before buying if you do not have the same kind of extra room you see the lady in the picture has you will get a nice stick but probably not be able to use it for that exercise. It does work for me for some other things i need to do like leg stretching so still a value. just not 5 stars because i bought it for my back and cant use it that way. Just needed to be a little longer.
