Initial impressions are good
The true test will be taking it out to a range a handful of times to see how it holds up. That said this part fit my takedown perfect. Just go on YouTube if you aren’t sure the process to disassemble. But this was my first ever mod I’ve done and it was very easy.Just in case someone is not quite aware what this part is for. The ruger 10/22 has what many consider to be a big design fail. It’s bolt release is garbage and very annoying. You have to push this little lever by the trigger while also holding the bolt back to release. It also can be real finicky. It’s really unfortunate considering it is by many opinions the best .22lr if not one of the best rifles on the market. This little part corrects the issue and honestly should just be standard from ruger. Now you only use that lever to lock the bolt and when you need to unlock or arm the rifle just pull the bolt back and release.

Not as well made as I hoped. Hard to manipulate to lock open the bolt. Looking for a better replacement.
