Emma Barclay Damask Rose - Jacquard Table Cloth in Cream - 70x108 (178x274cm)

I bought this cloth to dress the dining table for Christmas and was absolutely delighted with the result. A lovely deep festive red, good quality and with a tasteful rose damask pattern and subtle sheen. Great value and washes up well. Also, quite easy to spot clean without staining and quite crease-resistant. Would highly recommend.

I am reviewing this white table cloth based on one exactly the same that I purchased 2 years ago, which is still going strong. However, throwing another table cloth away, I needed a second one to cover for washing. For me re-purchasing this table cloth was a no-brainer. This is a lovely white damask style table cloth and it will give elegance to any table. It looks very expensive for the money. No, it is not a cotton table cloth, it is 100% polyester. It does not feel like plastic, nor does it look like plastic. It does have a little "sheen" only on parts of it, but that is where the damask pattern is woven in. The sheen is unoffending and for the most part will be covered by place mats, coasters, crockery, etc. The edges are scalloped, not hemmed, but they are well finished and they do not fray during use or washing. The table cloth is not thin or see-through. We have a table protector underneath, but even if we didn't, you wouldn't be able to see the dark wood table through it. We use this table cloth nearly all the time even though we have a number of 100% cotton table cloths as this table cloth is more practical. The advantages of this table cloth are:- - the damask pattern looks clean and fresh and pleasing to the eye - it washes well. - it appears to be stain resistant to spillages that would ordinarily ruin a 100% cotton table cloth. No harsh cleaners or chemicals are required, the stains just disappear in the wash - it dries extremely quickly. - it is easy-care and requires no ironing. There really is nothing not to like about this table cloth. For the money you can't go far wrong.
