But if you understand afro carribean hair we wants less water in a product as it creates frizz. But it does foam up very well and sets good. There is no flaking but there is a little brittleness just before its brushed out. Ultimately it doesn't dry your hair out and other products I put in (oils) are still there after it's been brushed out. It does what it says, it sets ur edges when used with a wrap and when used with rods under a dryer.
