Nova Wax Lamp Rainbow Tinted Glass 15 Inch

The media could not be loaded. Start out by saying I love this lamp. Iv wanted a lava lamp for years now as I always remember them from my childhood fondly however iv always put off buying one as reviews are always bad on anything but the £80-£90 ones and I'm not prepared to spend that type of money on one so for years I look I read the reviews and inevitably pass on buying one but then I found this one which I really like for the colour gradient on the glass and for the 3 year warranty which is amazing coz pretty much all bad reviews are it breaks within a month, the glass cracked, it just stopped working, so on and so on but with the warranty it really doesn't matter coz for 3 years if it breaks they will replace or fix it . This is the only lava lamp iv found that comes with warranty effectively taking all the risk out of buying one. Iv been using it for 3 days now and it working perfectly fist time took 2 hours to heat up but every time since it's been working within an hour and working perfectly only thing to remember is to not leave on for more than 6 hours and if the room is too cold firstly it will take longer to heat up but if the room is really cold like winter and your heating not working cold then the glass is likely to crack like putting boiling water in a glass that was in the fridge

Great price and looks great. Takes a while to warm up and one of the only lava lamps that doesn’t look like a space rocket. Once warmed up is very effective as the wax is broken into smaller balls and move faster.12 MONTH UPDATETakes anything up to 2 hours to get going. Be patient! Bulb blew but easily replaced on Amazon/ebay. I have found that it can run hotter if you don’t screw the bulb fully home so it’s closer to the glass. Gets going quicker. Great lamps. Just bought 3 more for Xmas presents. Take apart to transport. Keep the box/tube it came in. Don’t move it til totally cooled down. Max running time 10 hours. Best after 2.5 hours.

Gorgeous lamps. Value for money. Very easy to set up and absolutely gorgeous when they heat up. Please give it at least 2-3 hours for maximum results. Loved it so much bought 2 more to put in the bedrooms.

Very cool to look at but my carpet is ruined!After a few hours of “heating up” it eventually started to look awesome as expected. The un-expected part was the Loud pop when it exploded and then fell to the floor leaving glass, wax and liquid all over my carpet! I’m so glad this wasn’t on my 5year olds bedside!

Arrived promptly well packaged.These were Christmas presents requested by our 2 grandsons aged10 &12 who were very pleased with them.

This is lovely, took ages to warm up and start working (but it was actually fun watching the shapes form and stay solid for a bit). Doesn't give off much of a glow so is more for decoration purposes really. Cute though.
