Codelocks 0525 SS CL525 Mortice Lock with Double Cylinder Mechanical, PVD Stainless Steel

Bought doors on ebay with EU locks missing so had to buy this size. Excellent for a clinic door situation. Much cheaper to buy this complete rather than separate parts. Like Feynman you could work out the code easily enough so not good for atomic secrets or main doors.

i found the euro cylinder is a very low quality clearly anti nothing, no star rating or BS rating so basically this lock is not at all insurance approved so be careful you will nead an approved 5 lever dead lock as well or you could have an insurance claim totally voided. please do not trust this lock. it has no secured by design approval no security star ratings or british standard security ratings.it is a totally light duty lock i was not very happy so i looked on youtube about cracking this lock and the code lock took about 3 seconds for me to open using youtube instructions with a tiny engineering ruler and not even touching the buttons so dont trust this on any door if what you have inside needs to be protected because its only use is for protecting hallways and internal low security doors,stay clear and by a yale key free system or just stick with everyday key locks for your own protection.BE WARNED PLEASE DONT USE THIS AS A MAIN LOCKING SOURCE IT IS NOT UP TO THE JOBmine is heading back to amazon

At first glance this lock looks like a good lock but in-fact it is very poor quality on closer inspection, made by codelocks.com i was expecting something very tough to beat to secure a workshop door, however this is quite possibly the weakest lock i could have fitted, the buttons get stuck in and the normal lock is on par with low cost china made locks found on ebay.waste of my time and money, it simply will not be secure to hold off or defend even light attacks against my door security, i have now sent it back and will be fitting a mortise lock and a standard night latch it its place, by the way the euro lock looks like it would fall in half with the slightest pressure. forget mould grips snapping it ... a small pair of poundland pliers would beat this lock,I kid you not even the instructions say don’t rely on these locks for security???? And to add additional approved dead locks, err well what was the euro lock for? Waste of time and money, you can get the same lock on ebay for £20 just not with the codelocks logo, sent back for a refund.Not a very good lock, no use for a workshop door
