Your new quirky coffee-partner
This cup is a ‘grower’, in more ways than one. Expect to find it odd (and a bit hard to unfold!) at first; but get to know it, take it outside and introduce it to your friends: soon you’ll be best mates and a conversation item forever! The good bits - bright colours, three-sizes-in-one, keeps your coffee warm, lid you can drink through that doesn’t scorch your lips off.The ‘meh’ bit - get to know the lid. At first it’s easy to put on cross-threaded (leaky!!) but you’ll get the feel of it soon enough. It isn’t fully coffee-proof if you optimistically turn a full cup upside down (!) but does give you time to see the error of your ways and turn it the right way up again before all your lovely hot chocolate falls out...The AWESOME bits - rinses clean really really well, even if the chocolate sprinkles have melted onto the inside of the lid. And the best bit? Not in the sales blurb but this cup is insulated *just perfectly* so that a cup of hot (drink of your choice, mine’s a coffee, thanks) makes the sides the perfect temperature to wrap your chilly hands around on a gritty day. I mean it - no swapping hands as your palms get shiny red; no trying to hold your coffee with fingertips around the rim, no stupid cardboard collar adding to your drink’s carbon footprint. Seriously, this cup turns your pavement coffee break into hug-in-a-mug...

Excellent product!
I’m really quite impressed with this cup and highly recommend it. When compressed, it’s nice and small and easily fits into a bag or pocket. When filled with a hot drink, it’s comfortable to hold and feels secure. The lid screws on easily and the hole in the lid for drinking is a good size and angle, which allows you to drink with ease knowing it won’t spill over you. It’s great knowing you’re helping the environment and it’s a bonus when in a coffee shop to either get a few pence off the price of a coffee, or an extra stamp for more coffees! The only negatives for me is that the cup is a little stiff and awkward to pull into shape and also to collapse down after use. Also after drinking, it’s best to rinse the cup out immediately, because if you collapse it down without rinsing then it’s inclined to leak. So I’d recommend putting it in a waterproof bag till you get home, if you can’t rinse it out before then. This cup is a great invention especially if you don’t want to carry a large and heavy cup around. It’s helping our environment, so I give it 5 stars and more!!

Great idea, love the product, but could be improved
I've used this product for many months now, I found the following pros and cons.Pros: collapsable, light weight, non-breakable and obviously help to minimise coffee cup wasteCons: not leak proof. the bottom ring can slip off, the silicone could retains the smell of liquid. On balance, I would still recommend this product. This is because:a) the pros are good enough reasons for me to buy this product. It's one of the very few good collapsible cups on the market - very suitable for travelling, and it's the only one (at time of writing) that offers the flexibility for 3 cup size changes, which are useful for different coffee machines.b) the cons are not dealbreakers and can be minimised/get rid of with some careful use. So, (i) although this is not leak-proof, it's spill proof - one can certainly make sure the lid and the edge of cup are aligned well before they screw the lid on to ensure the lid tightens well. By doing so, hardly any liquid would come out; (ii) in terms of silicone retaining smell, that applies to all silicone product, and can be easily get rid off, by spraying the product with baking soda and vinegar and then wash with hot water. It does not affect taste of liquid. And silicone is necessary in order for the cup to be collapsible (which was my main requirement).c) their customer service is also excellent. They had got in touch with regards to my criticism of the product and even offer to provide a full refund for any dissatisfaction. So it's good the know that this company really cares. In terms of further product improvements, I would suggest some type of ring-seal to make it leak proof, and also get the lower holding ring stuck the silicone rather than allowing it to move, then then this product will be close to perfect :)

Does exactly what I want it to do
I bought one of these over 2 years ago and have used it absolutely loads. I love the fact that it packs so small so I can always have it in my bag in case I want to buy a coffee. Once you get the hang of using it there are no leaks - I just wipe it with a tissue or napkin before putting in my bag (and leave the tissue in), then wash properly when I have chance. Sometimes I use again without washing - I just ask the staff to steam it out first with their coffee machine.A few other tricks you learn:- Open the sippy cup bit before trying to expand, otherwise no air can get in!- Don't hand the lid over to coffee shop staff - put it on yourself to ensure the screw threads are lined up.- If you drink black coffee in it, you will only be able to use it for coffee in future as it makes other drinks taste of coffee.- Being collapsible makes it less sturdy, so don't squeeze it when it has drink in it.- It won't stay looking beautiful, but that's not the point.I've saved easily 100 disposable cups, and that means probably about £50 in discounts on my Pret coffee!

Lieblingbecher
