At first I connected my smartphone using the cable provided in the box. Needless to say that the cable caused considerable amount of trouble and needed replacement. But troubles didn't stop there. The display is barely visible due to terrible contrast (even after adjustment it didn't improve much). Since the lighter connector sits beside handbrake in my car, it is impossible read the display while sitting in the seat. Needless to say it is impossible to do that while driving. Another big issue is the speed of the device. It is unacceptably slow. To switch to another folder and start playing songs from that folder it takes at least 15 seconds. And coming down to switching folders, in order to do that you have to press pause (wait 5 seconds), than press series of buttons to enter adequate menu (which takes at least 10 seconds) and than press play again. Ultimately, the device does what it is supposed to do, plays mp3 (and that is why I rated it with 2 stars instead of 1). Otherwise my overall user experience is beyond terrible. I would consider returning the product but the cost of the shipment is in the same range as the price of the product so i will just forget the money spent.

First thing to note, this is NOT a bluetooth adaptor. I accepts audio in via MP3's on an microSD card, or through a 3.5mm Line in audio jack.I use it with an SD card, and it works well. The sound quality isn't bad, and it has some basic EQ settings in the menu.You can set it to broadcast to your car radio on any of the UK FM frequencies, although you have to be really careful to choose one that is completely empty. Any interference from existing radio stations will make your listening experience suffer.- After playing for some time (about 30mins or so) the Skip forwards and Skip backwards buttons stop working.- The display is completely unreadable in daylight- Mine has now reverted to Chinese language, so I can't make any changes to the settings againThe USB charging works well.

Realmax offer bribes for 5 star reviews so be aware of this when reading reviews. Onto mine though, for 8 quid or so it's ok whack some tunes on a usb, tune your radio to 87.5fm and plug and play. Listings seem to be in chinese, I can't really tell because the writing is so small. As a lorry driver I wanted something i could put in any wagon I'm driving and start listening to my music with ease, so this is great for me.3 stars coz.writing is small and chinese.realmax trying to buy a 5 star review

The feel of the remote especially is very cheap.The aux cable has to be plugged in a certain way round or half the audio cuts out (great for kareoke!)The transmitter has a loose connection to the 12V supply, and will sometimes come out of position.Also, I ordered pink and received red.However, when it works which is most of the time, it works wonderfully! I think it's just going to take a bit of time to find the optimum position. I wonder how long it will last for...

The product is simple to set up. Plug in and set a radio station on the device and match the station on yout car radio.However there is no instruction in the packaging so without trial and error this may be as simple as it sounds. But once you know how to do it. Set up is simple.However. After this.. my experience with the device was awful. At best it will play a few tracks with a minor crackle. But cannot play itself at full volume instead it plays loud for 1 second and then cuts down meaning my volume needs to be turned way up for meto even hear it. And then at its worst... (and most often) the device cuts out. Constantly. Meaning you need to pull over and reinsert the device every two minutes. Rendering the device useless. Minor speed bumps... turning corners... anything but being sat stationary in your car effects the output of the device. No idea if its a defect in mine or not. But my opinion would be to avoid.

Good points: FM transmitter works well with little static.Bad points: The aux cable supplied is short and the one I received didn't work properly but I picked up another one which transformed it from a poor product to a good one. The packaging was damaged and no instructions were included.Conclusion: I'd buy it again given the price. I've only given it 3 stars given due to the bad points.

The product does work very well. However I did not know how to make it work. After looking at a few videos from YouTube I learn how to make it work. You have to have the same fm signal as the device in order for it to work. Over all very easy to use.

Is good for the car, however it will only play loud enough to hear on the drivers side and not passenger side! No manual came with it for me to try and change the settings. Also I ordered this item and as seen by the picture I ordered pink? Yet I received a red one which was in the box of a blue one?
