THE BIG BANG THEORY: S1-10 (DVD/S) [2017]

This review is for The Big Bang Theory: Seasons 1-10. I am not generally a fan of American sit-coms, but this TV series has been brilliant. We are still going through the episodes, since purchasing the boxed set, some weeks ago. My one complaint about this product, is that (as others have mentioned in their reviews) the DVD cases are flimsy cardboard. However, this has to be one of the cleverest and funniest sit-coms I have ever seen. The script writing, the actors and acting, the editing, have all been superb. Yes Sheldon can be annoying (go on say it - he's annoying), and no doubt would be extremely irritating to live with, but it's easy to see why his character got the spin-off show. However, the entire ensemble cast work wonderfully together. Though I would particularly like to mention Simon (Howard) Helberg's vocal impressions and musical talent. Let's not forget all of the supporting actors, who have all helped to impart this series with such a winning formula. Those who have delivered some of my favourite lines include - Barry Kripke ("Not westawont - westawont! This voice wecognition sucks."), Stuart the Comic Store owner, and Zack (fearful of the moon being blown up). This has been a great purchase, to be enjoyed by both nerds and normals, whether or not they have any significant science background. Although I think having some modicum of scientific nerdiness will help you appreciate this fantastic production to the full. Go on get it, you know you want to.

I can't believe I'd missed watching this program for so many years. Once I got started I was hooked and am racing through the 10 series. It's very funny, clever and excellently written with a great cast. 10 series with 24 episodes per series and dvd extras makes it great value for money.

I purchased this as a present for my son because i thought he would enjoy the comedy but i was wrong.I saw it on French TV and i found it very humourous, very dry sense of humour. Not everybodies cup of tea.

Arrived ahead of time good condition

Everything was all fine with the dvd’s, but they were loose inside the box, so I had to put them in order. Only thing I have to complain about is that it took longer time then estimated, so I thought that I’d never get it. Was just about to complain, then it arrived in the mail. But everything is working, so I’m happy with it 😊

Great value for money cheaper than others as well who only go up to Season 9

Box set arrived well packaged but on opening the box I saw that the set was damaged. On closer inspection I could see that this is due to the very poor quality of the set itself. The DVDs come housed in individual cardboard sleeves rather than regular plastic cases. These were all squashed together in the outer cardboard slip. Very flimsy and pretty easy to split or get damaged. Huge dent out the side of the one I received.Also, All of the DVDS can be heard rattling around inside the box, so they've clearly come loose inside. Again not a good sign concerning the quality.Normally I would just put any damage down to bad luck, but here the product itself is clearly at fault.I returned mine as it was a christmas gift and i didnt want to give my friend such a tatty product. I have attached some photos so others can make the decision themselves.
