How many bags do you get it says 5 yet quantity when ordering says 1

I got five bags, I assume that it means one pack when there are five bags in the pack.My delivery email said "1 X 5 x NEW FIBC BULK BAGS BUILDERS GARDEN WASTE 1 TONNE TON JUMBO BAGS STORAGE SACK".

are these bags suitable to store soil in whilst I have some work done in the garden

Yes but would not suggest you pull them across any rough surface, ideal to store earth and tree cuttings, grass cuttings , hedge cuttings , but full of earth they would be very heavy to pull very far. They are very strong .

Will these bags hold stone?

Yes, but (obviously) don't overload them if you want to move them by hand. As advertised, they will hold 1 tonne (1000kg), but you would need a fork lift to move them !!
