It works exactly like the video shows. Great product I eat way more apples now.I need to try the potato in it, then bake it.Very satisfied with my purchase.

I love using this device.Although it doesn’t work on large potatoes and if you have an odd shaped one it will not peal it properly, and the suction doesn’t stay. It was pretty easy to use. Not sharp enough to actually cut yourself when you are adjusting the pieces. But it is definitely worth the money.

Please do yourselves a favor and DON'T buy this piece of Cr@p. I'm a professional chef and I cant tell you that this is garbage. Purchased it in an emergency after the rubber sealer of the apple peeler I've owned for over 20 years gave Outland lord o mighty was this a mistake. The wing screw that helps adjust the slicing knife is impossible to properly tighten making the the slicing knife, which apparently seems to be made of aluminum foil, unstable which in turn totally destroys the fruit wile slicing/coring. . The adjusting buckle is so badly designed that as you begin to peel the apples it gets stuck on the end of the fruit, not only denting the bottom of it but also, as a bonus, make the prongs tear and rip the bottom, making it unstable as it reaches the peeler and rendering the fruit unusable for the machine. The machine itself weighs a mere 13 ounces in comparison to the real ones which weigh over a pound ten ounces. The extra weight helps stabilize the peeler/corer, the lighter the machine the more unstable it is. I could write a bible about the horrid quality of this thing but I think smart shoppers will get the drift. Anyways it's going back right now.

The suction feature is VERY nice for gripping to my marble counter top. Much nicer than the peelers that clamp on in my opinion. However, I bought this one because my old one was getting dull. The sharpness of the blade was refreshing BUT the screw that holds the coring/slicing mechanism in place comes loose frequently no matter how tight you screw it on. It peeled one apple perfectly before it came completely dismantled. Going forward I hold that piece in place while the kids function the handle (otherwise it comes loose every time.) I appreciate not having to self peel these apples, but it would be nice if the kids could peel their apples independently without adults help holding the sharp piece in place. Unimpressed, but it gets the job done.

We makeLots of pies. Really make it easier. Peel,core and slice all in one. Grandkids love to use it too.
