Fantastic bit of kit
Stout bit of kit that works well, just note that you need a good bit of grip strength to get this going. It works really well and gives me much more confidence in my anchors rather than doing this with a drill! Should have bought one sooner.

Good value - does the job.
First of all this is was a good price as other vendors sell for a lot more. Before using it I checked out "how to " tips and found some useful stuff on YouTube. And then I found sound scrap wood and used the tool to check drill size for the anchors I was using etc. I recommend people do this before making holes in their plaster board. Then used the tool to set anchors (10mm dia from Screwfix) for a heavy shelf. Overall recommended but don't know how good it will be after more usage hence 4 stars.

Good quality
Very good quality item, it has a spring system that holds the position like a caulking gun, you can use it for jack nuts which is the reason I bought it and it was very good value at the time of purchase. Many thanks

Does the job
Bought this to fit some anchors to a plasterboard wall. I tested the tool before starting on a piece of wood so I knew how much force was required to "set" the anchor - quite a lot was the answer. Anyway, I've since set 10 or so of these anchors without any problems. Only time will tell how long this tool lasts as it doesn't feel like the best made piece of kit but it works flawlessly at the moment so I'm very happy with my purchase. I would definitely buy another one of these if this lasts a year or 2.

Failed after around 50 uses
Its a great tool but it will fail after 50 or so uses so have one handy for when that happens

Does the job
Pretty good, does exactly what it's supposed too. Only fault is that the plastic sleeves keep coming of when using the tool. Those cavity anchors are not the easiest things to push through ... serious muscles required.

I became aware of this tool when Ron Paulk mentioned it in a recent YouTube video. Wall anchors have never been on the happy side of my to-do list. The usual process of setting the anchor with the self-bolt is a little slow. It's easy to over-tighten the bolt so the anchor partially crushes the drywall. Sometimes the anchor head does not bite the wall well enough, so it spins. This tool changed all that. I love it. A couple squeezes of the handle are enough to set the anchor. It's faster than using a drill. It's more consistent, too. Every anchor went in properly, set just right, and was fast. It was all good. I was able to easily set anchors in tight spaces where using a drill or screwdriver would have been a challenge. Because the tool uses a pulling force instead of rotation, the anchor heads never spin out. When using for the first time, set an anchor in a piece of scrap drywall to get a feel for it. The bolt head of the anchor needs to protrude about 1/4" so the tool's internal puller can catch the bolt head. If it won't catch the bolt head then withdraw the bolt a few more turns. Also check that the puller was released to the starting position.

A must needed tool for Molly type anchor. The build quality is good, and it simplifies the work a lot.
