Fits Echo Dot 5th Gen
Don't know why some people are saying this doesn't fit the Echo Dot 5th Generation 5 (2022 release without clock) as it's a perfect fit & works without issue. It may be possible that some of these power supplies are packaged incorrectly so have a jack plug with a larger outer diameter or smaller inner diameter (or even both) because there are numerous different sized jack plugs around, which is of coarse like the several differing types of USB connectors a nightmare & simply ridiculous, an industry standard should've been set for such connecters making them all the same.Only other possibility is that some folk are identifying their Alexa device incorrectly, but I'd be very surprised if that was the case.Highly recommended, appears high quality build & good weight, fits & works fine with Dot 5th Gen'.

Perfect
I tried 2 other plugs for the Amazon Alexa Echo Show 5 series 2 before speaking to customer service who advised this one and it works perfectly.

Works as Expected
This power adapter does exactly what it's supposed to do. It's a reliable replacement for my Echo device, and it works perfectly without any issues. The build quality is decent, and it fits securely into my Echo Dot. The only reason I'm giving it four stars instead of five is that it's not significantly better or different from the original adapter. Overall, it’s a solid choice if you need a replacement or backup.

Doesn't Fit The Item I Wanted It For
Looks well made but unfortunately, this plug doesn't fit the kit I wanted to try it on. It's no fault of the manufacturer but for the customer, the unnecessary variation of plug and socket combinations in the wild adds to the already aggravating need for centre positive/centre negative things you need to be careful for. With that said, this one of the least readable labels that I have seen. Given that this information is essential to avoid damaging equipment, I humbly suggest that it would be great to have this printed on the outer surface of these wall warts. I have some musical equipment that costs hundreds of pounds that need these items to work (why they don't include mains connections for such kit is another tale). Incorrect polarity as well as to high a voltage is a good way of flushing money down the drain.

Does what it says
This was a good item, it just didn't meet my needs so I returned it as the item I purchased it to use on was actually broken.
