Complete garbage product. It requires Wi-Fi @all times
First off, this requires you to have 1,000,001 accounts, including a Google play account just to update any of the applications to the latest firmware to even think about running. That’s ridiculous for the price paid and just lazy programming on the sellers part. For what we’ve paid, they should be seamless and instantly working. The directions are horrible at best and even once you’ve connected you come to find out that your OEM car Bluetooth signals won’t WORK while this is running…so phone calls and all. I didn’t bother to get past the enter your Google play account information. Nonsense to set this up to try it out. The interface didn’t look horrible, but this is one star for not being anywhere near consumer level use. The programmer needs to have everything working properly out of the box. Otherwise this isn’t work $20 let along $80! I figured, “OK, once I get it set-up (which will be a pain) over my Wi-Fi connection at home. It should connect to my phone and runoff the phones cellular network. Negative. It apparently always requires a Bluetooth hotspot or Wi-Fi signal to run properly. What a load of crap. I want some thing that can run off of my phone Internet and work seamlessly. Apparently they think you need to have a mobile hotspot for Wi-Fi in order to run this device. I’m returning it. Don’t bother buying it.
