The Ramp People Rubber Ramps for Wheelchairs 2.5cm - 10cm (6.5cm/2.5") 65mm Threshold Ramp

I originally bought one of these for our back door so our wheelchair user daughter would have a smoother transition through to outside. I was so impressed we’ve now bought a further 7 for various other areas where the threshold is too high. They are all working a treat and wished we’d bought these sooner.. Just a heads up, being rubber they can get slippy, if placed outside, when raining but we just put an outdoor mat over the ramp which seems to be doing the trick..

My husband is a very independent wheelchair user, we got the 3inch ramp to make it easier for him to get in and out of the back door, it’s perfect for what he needs, it’s heavy so does not move when he rolls on it, we did trim a few mm off one side to make it fit which was easy to do and did not effect the ramp in anyway.Service was brilliant it came just a few days after ordering and a great price when compared with other suppliers.

Package was delivered to a UPS access point rather than my specified delivery address! The seller chose to ship to an access point which I can only assume was to save on the delivery cost which should have already been accounted for in the Amazon Prime cost. I only realised it had been sent to the pick up point when I tracked the package online once it was a week late! Fortunately my partner has a car and we could collect it. Beware if you order one of these that you run the risk of having to get it home yourself... the 3.5" version weighs 19kg!The ramp itself is robust and well made, which has saved this review from being 1*.

Too heavy to carry, therefore not suitable to use where needed

Sent it back as it didn’t really suit what we wanted.

Works well, though be aware you may have to move it from patio doors in order to shut them.
