Batteries a little tricky to fit at first. Works. Good value for money. Froths milk well and quite powerful for its size.

For what it is it is great. Really cheap and works really well. I bought it for my daughter and she loves it. It certainly does the job and makes you wonder why anyone would pay more for a posh one when this does the job fine. Downside is that the design of the battery compartment is awful. Was really tricky to get the two batteries in, but once in, it's great. It's cheap and cheerful so build quality isn't the best, so not sure how long it will last, but so far so good.

I used this for making hot chocolates mostly. It’s perfect for making a frothy milky drink - great for lattes too. Stop drinking chocolate or milkshakes made with powder going lumpy. They lose power over time even with new batteries but they last a decent while. You won’t have to replace them often.

Terrible job getting batteries in and then worse job getting it to close , didnt work after all the tries so in the bin as to much hassle sending faulty goods back to Amazon. Il go for a better dearer make as IKEA isnt exactly know for gooods that last.

They might as well have made the stupid thing single use. It works so well but is massively let down by the complete uselessness of the battery compartment. I can only assume that the battery compartment was designed by an agent of Satan as a ruse to bring more souls to hell. Fitting the batteries without breaking the whole device was difficult enough, but you actually have to sell your soul to Satan in order to get the batteries out for replacement. The actual whisking/frothing action is very good, but the battery aspect is just so infuriating that I'd never buy this again.

A little finicky if you wanted to go a lil' slower on the spin but using it regularly would throth up the milk so quickly. Then rinse under the tap and clean every often was a breeze.

I purchased this to replace my $20 Aerolatte that met its untimely demise when my well-meaning 8 year-old threw into a sink full of water. This milk frother does exactly what it says it does- it creates a beautiful silky foam on the top of your beverage. I use this for my almond and hemp milk hot chocolates and chais. One could use it easily on animal-based milks; because of the fat content animal-based milks they form thicker more velvety foam anyway. This product works on all kinds of milk. It is NOT a steam wand though- it just creates foam. In the absence of a steam wand, I heat my drink of choice on my stove top and then finish it by sticking this frother into the cup and turning it on. You can use it at the top, slightly beneath the surface (to avoid splattering) or you can plunge it down to the middle. Either way will create beautiful foam. Please note that this is an Ikea product that sells for about $3 in the store. Our nearest Ikea is an hour away, so I chose to pay the extra $4 to avoid driving two hours total for a $3 product. It does have a cheaper feel than the Aerolatte, which is most noticeable when you're sliding the button down to turn it on, but because you only use it for a few seconds at a time it doesn't bother me.
