A classic for a reason. There are better modern deck builders and better racing games but as with many Knizia games, there are few if any that provide so much game with so little rules overhead.

Great game. A 13 year old and 10 year old learned it in 15 mins and enjoyed their first game in an hour. Have come back to play three more games.

Legit copy, good price. No complaints here. The game itself is a medium weight family deck building game for 2-4 players. It is essentially a race to the finish line, but you chose your own path and buy cards from the market place, so everyone will have slightly different strategies. There's tonnes of map setups and when you're done with all that you can add caves for randomised loot (included in the box), so it has near infinite replayabality. One of Reiner's best.

A very popular acquisition for my Thursday evenings games night. Easy to set up and play with enough depth to be challenging too

Bought this after extensive research, and was pleasantly surprised. My family absolutely loved it! It's a perfect blend of strategy and easy play. And you're able to play 2 to 4 players, so makes it perfect for a date night, or with family/friends. If you like games like Ticket To Ride, than you will definitely like this one. Highly recommend!

Belle qualité, difficulté familiale, après une partie ou deux on a tout compris malgré la richesse apparente des cartes, en revanche bien gérer le contenu de son deck en fonction de la progression demandera quelque parties. Qualité du matériel impeccable, beaucoup de décors et ceux ci son réversibles. Nb : jeu livré en notices et cartes Anglaises ET françaises. Deux extensions incluses, l'une est documentée (les grottes), l'autre non et ce sont juste des cartes rôles supplémentaires (j'ai mis un moment à comprendre lors de la mise en place, je les ai écartées pour les premières parties) A deux on joue avec 4 personnages, c'est top, çà crée des blocages et une course dédoublée. Les cartes s'apprennent vite, en 2/3 parties tout est limpide, mais les stratégies elles sont à découvrir au fur et à mesure) Bref, très content de ce jeu à la mécanique intéressante, prévoir une grosse heure par partie une fois au point. Je conseille : sleeve pour les cartes qui sont remélangées souvent (çà glisse mieux et çà protége : Red Glove - 100 Sapphire Sleeves Blue 59 x 92 cm par exemple) Prévoir un bel espace pour les décors, le jeu est encombrant (et donc immersif aussi)

The game itself is amazing and deserves 5 stars, but this particular edition only 1 star because the publisher has dropped the ball and doesn't release any expansions, and expansions from other publishers are incompatible with this version. If you want to extend your game in the future, it's better to buy the game from another publisher.

If you have played any sort of deck-building game or are looking into getting one I would say this is a good one to pick up. It's easy to learn, however there was one rule that gave us a hiccup mainly because in most other deck-building games you have to discard your hand at the end of your turn, but in this game you can choose to keep some cards if you didn't use them to possibly help you on the next turn. As is the case for most deck-builders everyone starts with the same deck, and the same setup for the "market" is used each time so you would think games would feel "samey". That is not the case since the map can be changed everytime you play since it's made of these big hexagons that are double sided and it even comes with some half pieces to add to make it even more exciting and different. Pros: Easy to learn Quick(Most of our games after setup took maybe about 30 to 40 minutes.) Lots of replayability with the how the map can be laid out. This version comes with two mini expansions that I think were promos or something like that. We haven't played with the Caves one but the three extra stacks of cards are neat. Neutral: The starting market always being the same can be a bit annoying but since the board can be so easily changed it makes it a decent constant and helps with planning and strategy. I'm not sure if the big expansion is compatible with this version or not. Cons: This version has terrible storage, I had to use some extra bag from other games to store this game properly. One of my pieces were broken when I got it but a drop of crafting glue fixed it no problem. Overall: 8/10 Great game, I enjoy racing games and deck-building games, so combining the two is a good time for me and my friends.

Amo este juego. Es un clásico y siempre que tengo la oportunidad lo juego. Recomendadísimo para jugarse en familia y con amigas.

Returned due to printing errors: - Player boards in German (French/English edition) - Meeples all the same as for the previous Franz Vohwinkel editions and in contrast to pictures in the manual and on the back of the box. Not a dealbreaker but I also note that the card stock was quite poor. I’d suggest waiting until Ravensburger sorts out the errors with this print run.
