I had the four 4,000 IU but my doctor said that was too high so you recommended 400 I U so that I'm on now it's always important to check with your doctor

Good size, therefore easy to swallow. Good value too. It's hard to find vitamin D pills with a small enough dose ; these are just the right dose for me in the summer.

Each tablet provides 2x the NRV (Nutrient Reference Value, i.e. recommended daily amount) for Vitamin D. Ideally it would be 1x the NRV, but other products are often 5x or 10x (which is way too much), so 2x is really quite resonable. You can simply take it every other day to get the proper amount.

the product arrived as described, the tablets was intact. Some people mention tablet dust is present, which it does but you would expect this as these are not coated tablets. Therefore I can confirm the goods are as what you would expect them to be like and time will tell regarding the benefits as you must allow over a month usage before seeing any results with any kind of supplement intake.

This product contains vitamin D3 cholecalciferol which I understand is the most effective form for humans to absorb, while being derived from vegetarian sources. The tablets are easy to swallow and easy to split for different doses. My personal experience: I tried a daily half tablet for a few months through summer with no noticeable effect, then increased this to a whole tablet per day as winter approached and noticed a definite improvement in my mood within a few days. After a few months I increased my dose to 1.5 tablets per day but found no further improvement so back to 1 a day.
