I couldn’t imagine the hurt this lady went through as a child. It was very emotional book to read.

An extremely powerful book and I give it 5 stars! I can’t even begin to imagine how challenging it was for the author to recount and document her past but she did it beautifully. The flow of the book makes it an easy read even if you struggle reading like I do. I love the life application chapters. Praying this book reaches the masses and helps those that God intends for it too!

Tina shares her incredibly difficult childhood and shares how the Lord mended her heart from the terrible trauma she experienced. This story shows the incredible work that God can and will do in someone’s life despite the circumstances. Tina gives great tools and wise advice while pointing you to the Lord, the One who makes all the difference.

This is a very helpful and encouraging book for anyone, especially those who are recovering from an abusive situation. Even if you have not experienced any kind of abuse, this book offers a helpful perspective for anyone who wants to encourage or assist someone living with or recovering from an abusive situation. It is well written and the author organizes her thoughts well.

This book was so intense, I could not put it down!!! A story of Redemption & Overcoming. Easy to read, great writer. I pray Tina Cook will use this story , to bring many to The Fathers safe quarters. His intimate chambers where His grace flows & healing begins.

The author is very honest and vulnerable in her story! If you have been through any form of physical or mental abuse, this book will give you hope and encouragement!
