Great mix of Family Saga, Domestic Drama, and Romance
Julien Bradley’s Beneath The Rock, book #1 in a series, is a dynamic read that captures the hardiness of mid-western life, and its people. I was hooked; enjoyed taking the journey into this world filled with such fascinating, multi-layered characters. Bradley has crafted a fantastic protagonist, Ramona Strong. Bold yet vulnerable, she’s recently widowed. Upon her return home, to North Dakota, for her father’s funeral, she discovers her inheritance of untapped oil fields in the region. Lots of complications, twists, and emotionally engaging situations ensue, including a rekindled love affair. If you like family saga, domestic drama, and romance you’ll like this read. And the ending is set up as a perfect tease for the next novel in the series.
