Really pleased with this chair mat. It slides smoothly under my chair, making movement effortless, and it hasn’t left any marks or damage on my carpet. It feels sturdy and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. It’s a bit difficult to unfold at first and needs some weight on it to fully flatten out—but once it settles, it stays in place and works perfectly.

This is a good quality mat but as per some other reviews it's hard to unfold on your own! I understand rolled it bottom/spikes up then put some heavy things on the corner to flatten it out. That only took a few hours then put it right side up and weighed it down again, found it won't go completely flat but it's almost flat. Would definitely recommend this, we have deep pile carpet and it's works perfectly and does not move!

Positives: Large size, (fairly) rigid Negatives: Takes days to unroll, can't remove ridges I purchased this 120 cm x 150 cm floor protector to replace my 120 cm x 100 cm Ikea Kolon (£19) floor protector. After some office rejigs, the Kolon was a little too small, although it has done me good service after almost 10 years of regular use (still solid, no cracks). It took me about a week to completely unfurl this mat. Some reviews say it takes two people - even then, I don't believe you can get it flat in just one day. I placed it upside down so that it curled up, and initially placed some boxes to hold the middle part flat (outside edges still rolled up). After a couple of days, the central part stayed "flat" (see later comments re: ridges), so I then placed two boxes side-by-side, to increase the flat part. Eventually, after gradually increasing the number of boxes, I unfurled the whole thing. However, long story short is that, as per the photos, even when I finally got the mat to stay flat, it had multiple ridges. This makes it difficult and uncomfortable to roll my office chair backwards and forwards. Maybe over time it will flatten completely, but I'm not holding out much hope.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! This is not what was expected at all. I thought it would be a relatively soft rubber material. It’s not. It’s as hard as metal and rolled up so, even as a fit male, I could not unroll this more than 2 inches - it’s rock solid.

Good quality protectors. Now been down a while and make moving office chairs on carpet so much easier. Protects the carpet too and does not move or slip atall.

It is impossibly hard to roll out. When it's as flat as you can make it and you try to weigh it down, that doesn't work. You need very heavy weights. Not the kind of things people have lying around. I decided to just have it slightly curved. But in a month or two it's 'set' in this position and hardened and now started shattering when the wheels of my chair go over it, making these lethal sharp plastic shards. This is the wrong type of plastic. This product should be pulled from Amazon and not sold. **UPDATE** The company saw my review and offered a full refund. Due to this, I've upgraded the review by a star. Big credit to them for offering a refund, I wasn't expecting it.

Great product

Highly recommend getting this mat if you have carpeted floors. I had an old chair mat that worked on wood, but was a nightmare even on short carpet. It would constantly bunch up. Not sure what took me so long to order a replacement with spikes, but I've just received this one today and I'm so happy with the difference already. If you are in this same situation this is a great option. Your chair slides back on and off the carpet/mat without any dragging, the spikes make a big difference. I was a little worried about the difficulty of unrolling the mat based on the comments. I think they are a little overstated, but it definitely isn't easy to initially unroll it. Would recommend doing it with two people for sure. I would also recommend having a bunch of flat heavy things nearby. I used stacks of records, books, an ottoman and covered all the corners and pretty much the whole surface area. Use 2 heavy things to hold down the corners then try and roll it out. I checked after about 5 hours and it was pretty much flat. It may have been done sooner but I didn't check, however I've seen some reviews mentioning it took days, or that it's never truly flat. Not my experience with it at all.

Works well on a deep pile carpet. Probably a bit expensive for what it is. But i can move my chair far easier now. The mat has studs on the back, mine hasn't moved like others said. Good product

easy to assemble and doing great has not curled or bubbled like other mats
