I've been using a kid's metal head rake for 20 years. It was the right size. It got into small spaces. I really liked the little rake. Then one tine broke off about five years ago. Another one broke off a few days ago. My little rake was biting the dust. I used this little rake in the garden, some areas of the chicken coop, spreading mulch around trees and bushes, and raking over gopher mounds. It got a pretty good workout. I came across this rake on Amazon. Same head style as my current little rake. Check. Head made of metal. Check. Looked durable. Check. I got the rake today and I am beyond pleased. The rake head is well made with strong steel tines. The rake has a handle with two extension sections and my little short self only has to use one of them. I like having the option to add the other extension to get to places that were previously unreachable. The joints are covered by a strong piece of plastic which looks durable. The head has strong steel tines. This rake exceeded my expectations which were pretty high already. In this age where companies are cutting costs which can translate into skimping on the product quality, it's nice to know there are still some companies who are proud of their products and continue to build and sell well-made ones. At the end of my reviews I always ask "would I buy this again?" because that's my standard of product approval. Yes. I would not hesitate to buy this rake again.

This is a very well made small head rake that I use in my chicken coop. The tines are heavy metal and don't bend when I push wet sand. It has sections to make the handle longer and I was able to make it long enough that at 5'6" I don't have to bend over. I even have a section left over so I could make it even longer.

Good small rake with a handle that can be fitted for tall or short people.Perfect for small spaces. Note the rake itself is very small but works for my very small patio. It is tedious to put together because it takes time to line up where the bolts go and patience to get them in straight.

Just perfect! Received this rake today, put to work immediately. Just the thing for my small garden. Is metal, sturdy, easy assembly. Comes with four metal tubes to make length right for you. I only needed two today to remove dead leaves in and around shrubs. Garden looks much better. Highly recommend this product.

This leaf rake is narrow at the base, its handle is expandable (it's perfect for people who have short arms). The price is good. It rakes easily between and under bushes and is sturdy. I highly recommend this small rake. Excellent purchase.

Material

Great little rake to take camping, makes quick work of clearing the tent space. Also because the handle is long and comes apart we use part of it as our fire poker stick (we like things that can multi function) fits in our camp tote!
