TOMS Women's/ Men's Classic Canvas Slip-On

These are the perfect type of shoe for the summer and I'm so glad that I bought them. I was hesitant at first from the mixed reviews here on Amazon but I've had no issues with fitment or quality. I've had these for a couple of months and I've worn them every time I've gone out to the grocery store, on dog walks, and to a couple of pool parties and they show no signs of wear. I bought the ash grey and the color matches the picture 100% (even though I think it is more like a brown than grey but whatever). I don't wear socks or anything when I wear these and they fit perfectly. The only issue that I've noticed so far is that these shoes lack any type of grip. If you are walking on a tile floor (or even on very smooth pavements!) be careful. I haven't slipped yet but sometimes it feels like I'm about to when walking on smooth surfaces.

I like them. I have a pair of Toms suede boots that are very comfortable, so I decided to try these. I'm undergoing chemotherapy, and I need shoes that go easy on my toes. These shoes were very tight around the middle of my foot at first but were good on my toes. After a few days, they have loosened up a bit and fit quite comfortably now. As the weather heats up, I'll wear them quite a bit.

I'm a size 11w and ordered a 12 (I have wide feet) but they are actually too big . But I love these shoes!!! Casual and comfy!! Give em a try will be buying more :)

Let me begin with some background; I am an 18-year-old student, and I have been wearing TOMS Classic shoes for about two years. I have only owned the Classics, and all of them have been purchased in black. I don't own any other shoes. I wear these casually, on my motorcycle, in my tuxedo-- all of the time. They look fantastic. Unfortunately, they don't last me very long. I am not a very active person; I don't rough-house, or play any sort of sports, or try and work out in my new shoes (I use my old ones for that). They always develop a hole in the big toe. I cut my toenails religiously, and I can not possibly order a size bigger without them falling off while I walk. Pros - They look great and are stylish - They support a good cause - They are comfortable Cons - They cost $50 ($35 would be much more reasonable) - They wear out too quickly They are great shoes, but I wouldn't recommend them to everyone. They are worth buying and owning a pair, even if just to try out, though, but don't expect them to replace your shoes permanently unless you are very gentle on shoes, and you have money to get new ones every three months or so.

I originally ordered these in a size 9 but it was too small. I moved up to a 9.5 and it is good with or without a sock. I am a fan of barefoot shoes like Vivobarefoot and Tune Footwear so these felt natural. They are cool enough to wear in place of a sandal but substantial enough to drive in. This is my new favorite pare of shoes.

Be careful when ordering these. If you are not used to wearing shoes without a sock; take this into consideration. Usually a sock will make your foot about 1/2 a size larger. On a different note, these shoes are great. Not perfect arch support (Comparable to Converse or Vans classics), but the sole is comfortable enough to walk in for a few hours at the least. I would recommend waterproofing your pair if you get one with beeswax or similar method as these shoes are canvas and your foot will get soaked in a puddle. Good shoes

I like my first pair, I would buy again! They fit a little tight at first but they stretched to my liking pretty quick. I measured my foot and added a little extra. I would recommend no show socks.

I always thought about buying Toms. Now I know why I instinctively stayed away from these shoes. I read the bad reviews and decided to buy them anyway. Well I'm glad Amazon has an amazing return process because these shoes are terrible. Reasons why I think these shoes are terrible: 1. You need to have some freakishly narrow feet in order for these shoes to fit comfortably. 2. The price 3. The quality of the shoes does not match the price at all. These shoes feel like they'll fall apart after a month of wearing them. Reasons why I ended up buying these shoes: 1. The whole "you buy a pair and we'll donate a pair" which I'm starting to find hard to believe at this point. 2. The style of these shoes (I mean they look great but looks are deceiving) 3. Amazon Prime with free returns I just can't recommend these shoes to anyone. Straight out of box they just feel crappy and have very narrow tips which hurt your feet unless you have weird narrow feet.
