It has 11 Inch Blade with 5.5 inch Shandan handle. The overall length is 17 inches. The thickness is about 9 mm at spine. The sheath is made out of white water buffalo leather covered in soft wood. It is made of Highly Graded Carbon Steel (car, bus or truck spring) which is very sharp or easy to sharp. The handle is very strong and different in comparison to other kukuri or knife. Some English speakers refer to this knife as a blade or knife. This kukuri is used by the Nepalese army, the Royal British regiment of British Army, regiments of the Indian army, Singapore police and Royal Brunei Guard.
