I picked up these individual baking cups because I wanted to try my hand at making traditional filled walnut cookies at home. Since I do not own a heavy stove-top press, this set of fifty individual metal segments seemed like a much more manageable and affordable alternative. The pieces are small, measuring about 50 by 40 millimeters, which is just the right size for those classic bite-sized tea treats.Using them is straightforward. I simply press the dough into the cups and pop them into the oven. Because these are separate pieces rather than one solid tray, they are very easy to maneuver around a baking sheet. You can arrange them however you like, which actually helps with airflow during the bake. The food-grade steel construction feels sturdy enough to last through many sessions, and I have found that a light dusting of flour or a quick spray keeps the dough from sticking when it is time to unmold them.However, one thing to keep in mind is that working with fifty individual cups is a bit labor-intensive. It takes a fair amount of time to press the dough into every single one by hand compared to using a single-press mold, so prepare to settle in for a long afternoon if you plan on using the whole set at once. Additionally, because the edges are quite defined, washing them by hand can be a bit tedious to ensure you get all the crumbs out of the corners. Despite the time commitment, the results are worth it, and I have even experimented with using them for chocolate shells. If you enjoy baking projects that are a bit more involved, this set is a great, reliable addition to the kitchen pantry.

Very very, very good

This 50-piece metal mold set is an excellent find for both the kitchen and the art studio. On the baking side, they are perfect for making traditional Russian Oreshki nut cookies, and the food-grade steel holds up beautifully in the oven. Outside of cooking, I also use them as casting forms for my polymer clay art projects, and the realistic walnut texture transfers onto the clay perfectly. The individual pieces are easy to handle, clean, and store. My only minor complaint is that the metal edges on a few of the molds feel a little sharp right out of the box, so you just need to handle them carefully during washing. Overall, it is a very versatile set that offers great value for creators.

My main complaint with this product is packaging — the lid on the case arrived shattered, likely due to too much product being crammed into too small a box for shipping. That said, the molds themselves are great: a perfect size for what I plan to use them for, made of metal, and you get a generous quantity in the set. Aside from the packaging issue, this is a solid product.
