Great construction. My son has always loved the Papo characters- esp knights and horses- the Castle is equally detailed and great quality. He has had a great time playing.

Item is great apart from missing 1 flag and 2 wall shields

I bought this early for my grandson for Christmas but sadly didn’t check it until Christmas Eve when he was in bed and we built it ready for Christmas morning. We opened the box to find one of the castellations was broken, a flag and two wall emblems were also missing. We glued the broken bit but sadly the gift was spoilt for our little grandson. I thought Papo and Amazon were more reliable than that. Sadly I bought it in September and the return window closed in October.

Would be a great item (christmas present) but it was delivered missing parts. Double checked instructions and these show the parts should be included. Missing castle flags and the castle shields which are required to hold parts of the wall together.

I was diappointed with the castle, once all the pieces were slotted together. The castle cannot be moved without it collapsing. The shields are suppose to hold it patially together did not stand up to the grand childrens first skermish and are now broken. I have attempted to hold the castle together with tie wraps but this is not an ideal solution. Poor design for a childrens toy. it just falls to bits as soon as it is played with. Poor value could have a better castle for less than half the price.

My daughter received this as a third birthday gift and plays with it often. It is very large in size, It’s made of sturdy material, comes completely painted and has a cool working drawbridge.It comes with a 1 page instruction diagram sheet which is fairly easy to follow, although as the pieces slot together without glue or screws, the walls and turrets can be reassembled in a variety of ways. This set does not come with any figures, and we only received 1 red flag (3 in photo).My only gripe is it doesn’t really maintain its shape when moved or even during play. I’m constantly re-aligning the drawbridge section, and the square turret tops fall off quite easily. I also would have liked the detail on the pieces to be painted on the inside of the walls as well as out.
