Algebra Just Got a Big Fat Upgrade
The Big Fat High School Algebra 1 Workbook is like a math tutor disguised as a comic book; chunky, cheerful, and surprisingly helpful. Packed with practice problems, clear explanations, and just the right amount of sass, it makes x’s and y’s feel way less intimidating. It doesn’t talk down to students, but it does throw in the occasional joke to keep things from getting too square (get it?). Whether you're a math whiz or still figuring out what a variable is, this book meets you where you are and then helps you level up.

The answers are in the back!
I recently purchased an algebra learning book and I am extremely satisfied with my choice! This book is an excellent resource for anyone looking to improve their understanding of algebra. The explanations are clear, concise, and easy to follow, making complex concepts much more manageable. The book is well-organized, with plenty of practice problems and examples to reinforce learning. I appreciate the step-by-step approach taken by the author, which really helped me grasp the fundamentals of algebra. The exercises are challenging yet engaging, and the solutions provided were incredibly helpful for self-assessment. Overall, this algebra learning book has been instrumental in boosting my confidence and skills in algebra. Whether you're a beginner or looking to brush up on your algebra knowledge, I highly recommend this book as a valuable tool for learning and mastering algebra. Five stars!

Just bought to review...
I just bought this Algebra I workbook and it's great. Looks wonderful...I glanced at the explanations on how to solve problems. I did not see an issue. They explain topics well.As for previous reviews mentioning wrong answers, I have not tested that out yet so I will update my review, if any issues arise. However, if they explain how to solve a problem we'll enough that you can do it on your own, the answer book should not matter. Now, if you are not sure or are hesitant on your work as you work through the problems, then, yes, I get it. But the explanations have correct answers so far from me briefly looking them over...I would love for there to be an Algebra 2 Big Notbook and an Algebra 2 Workbook! Also, a college Algebra notebook and a college Algebra workbook. I would buy them asap!I can see these math books, as pictured in my review and including the middle school math book too, to be useful for those wanting to practice for the Praxis exams, Accuplacer exams, and even the GED exams.Plus, there's a geometry book as well. I bought it too, because, I was not so great at it back in high-school.

Highly recommend
Great book for independent learning. I was looking for high school books and couldn’t find many options so decided to go with this one and definitely loved it.Not only it provides good number of practice problems, it has easy to follow instructions. My daughter rarely followed other workbook instructions, but this one is very well laid out and builds from easy to understand concepts to more advanced and complex. Absolutely recommend it. We purchased geometry book as well.

Excellent book for biggeners
I bought the Big Fat Algebra 1 and Geometry for my kids. I am an engineer and my work requires me to be fresh in Math, so I kinda tutor my kids from time to time. Here is my opinion. The book style and organization fit with middle school level kids (grade7-9). Lessons are short, bitesize and easy to follow and exercises are simple. Now this is not a book that can take your kids through SAT, but it can get their initial questions answered. For SAT you need a much better book with less focus on "simplifying". The sequence of the book may not match the classroom, so, you need to know what you're doing. There are s few errors, but easy to spot, nothing worthy of criticism. In short, use this book along with classroom notes grades min 7 to max 9. After that look for a solid Math book with hard assignment. Don't start with a harder book, your kids will hate you. Dedicate one summer (probably after grade 9) to review Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Geometry with your kids and bring them to a solid SAT level.I gave the book 5 start for the purpose I identified.
