However, this one was exactly what I was hoping. The ombre painted finish on the outside looks good and seems to be standing up well to the odd knock and bump here and there. I quite often make myself a cold drink in this, adding ice cubes, and the ice cubes are often still there, hours later, so I know the insulation must be very effective. I wanted a cup that has a good capacity, but also one that I could fit my hand inside to wash it up! This fits the bill. It has a rubber foot on the bottom which stops me clanking it around, and also seems to keep it nice and secure on different surfaces. The lid is also insulated and screws on and creates a good seal. The straw is very long, so I would recommend getting yourself some skinny bottle brushes, so you can keep the straw clean inside and out.
