Great addition to my collection
These are great dice! They're a bit heavier than plastic dice, but nowhere near as heavy as my metal set. All the numbers are easy to read with one exception where the stone underneath matches the color of the number fairly closely. Out of 70 faces, one bad combo is pretty good. The shapes and sizes are pretty standard other than the d10/100s, which are very slightly fatter than typical (more flying saucer shaped), the d4, which is slightly bigger than average, and the d12, which is CHONKY. The d12 is noticeably bigger than the d20. I don't see this as either a positive or negative, just interesting to note. I'm not planning on testing their durability, as I always roll my expensive dice in a padded game table or tray. These seem pretty hard and sturdy, but why risk it? The tin they come in is pretty good, and the lid can be used as a (rather small) padded dice tray in a pinch. It would definitely protect them in transport or storage. The price seems on par with other stone dice.

Gorgeous dice but the 4 sided chips easily!
First off–I have to admit I was surprised these are real gemstone because often other listings say “real” in them but then admit they are cast. These are the real deal! Imperfections and all. The gold writing is a lovely complement to the amethyst, and the little imperfections on the surface give them character. The weight and feel of stone is great. They are absolutely beautiful and I appreciate that they come in something to protect them between sessions. It’s easy to pop them in the foam for travel. I do wish the tin were a little prettier, but it’s all right. The downside of real gemstones is that they have weak points and can chip. My d4 is missing two tips, and one die has light cracking on one tip looks like it may chip in the future. They still roll fine and are so pretty that I’m OK with that personally, but other folks might take issue. I would suggest a soft rolling surface or a dice tower that doesn’t drop them from a height to a hard surface. The D20 is also difficult to read since it’s a lighter variant. This is annoying but to be expected with natural stone!

Beautiful, high-quality amethyst dice marred by poor font choice
The stone quality of these dice is exceptional. The amethyst is well-cut, has great character, and looks stunning. As it is natural, there is the risk of a cut being made on a vein, producing a situation where a piece can chip off with use. That is a concern with the 10-sided die included with mine, but it should be fine as long as I use it on my padded mat, which is the only way I'd use natural stone dice. My biggest complain is the font. Personally, I hate it. It's very finely cut and looks cheap. I would've preferred a bolder, cleaner choice. That said, it is completely legible and doesn't stand out if the dice are going to be used as display pieces. I would've appreciated better QC made on the die I received with the vein-cut, but I am very happy with these dice for what they are and the stone is stunning.

Great for The D&D Group
When these popped up on my Vine feed I thought to get them for my Boss as he is avid D&D player. It was an interesting item and decided to Grab one of the cooler minerals like Lapis Lazuli or the Red Bloodstone. but as I tried to pick one they became not available until the only one left was the Pink Cat's eye. The seem well made and come in a nice Tin with foam cut outs for storage. Maybe My wife will want to start Playing D&D with these pretty Dice. They are not as pink in Color as the picture shows but there are 7 of them in different shapes

Look and feel great
The lapis lazuli pattern is beautiful- it looks like grey sand intermixed with the dark blue. While they're very attractive, the pattern does reduce the readability. the D8 and D10 are predominantly grey, and the gold numbering on the grey background is very difficult to read. Add to that, the gold leaf work is a little sketchy in a couple of places- one where they're missing it on a section of the number and one where the gold extends outside the numbered groove.Overall, I like the set very much. However, at this price point, I'd expect a few of the issues to be resolved.

Perfect weight - readability is just okay
Very pretty dice, though the pink ones are not as light and bright as the photo on the listing. They are, however, the perfect weight - heavier than resin but lighter than most metal dice. That alone makes them a pleasure to throw. They would be five-star dice if the numbers were a bit easier to read. I had no trouble in daylight, but fear I'd struggle to read them quickly in low light. The dice come in an unusual round container, as you can see in my second photo. And you can see how the color does or doesn't pop in the third photo, which contains most of the DnD dice sets in my collection.

In my day we used stones as dice. And we liked it.
TLDR: A quality set worth the investment. RecommendedI ordered these as a gift for my daughter, who’s a second generation D&D’er. I played back when it was D&D, and the “Advanced” version hadn’t even been released (get off my lawn). I played about every RPG that existed, probably spending more time gaming than studying in college. While that doesn’t seem so good on paper, I sure had fun. And I also knew the value of a good set of dice.If you are a serious gamer, then invest in a serious set of dice. Eat a few less Big Macs (or whatever you kids eat nowadays) and buy this set.Construction is top notch and the Blue Cat’s Eye dice are easy to read. I especially like he fact that there are two d10s and they’re easy to differentiate the 10s from the 1s.It also comes in a nice box to store them. Use that instead of a dice bag so you don’t chip them while they’re in your backpack. Also, you can have a cool unboxing experience every time you take them out, and can make all of your mundane friends, who are using plastic dice, jealous.Probably the only downside is that, given they’re made of real stone, they will have will have imperfections and might shatter if you drop them from a great height or rage quit and throw them against a wall. Don’t do that, suck it up buttercup. Also use a felt mat or padded surface for rolling them.Overall a great set of dice that should last a long time with proper care. Highly recommended.
