Then I saw that they had what they called the "shot". I tried that as well. And considering there's ZERO sugar in this, it was the sweetes thing id ever tasted. I'm talking absurdly sweet. So I switched back to the powder. Both of them are good for what their purpose is. But as we all know flavor plays a big roll a lot of times. And I hadn't used all of the power I originally purchased so it it just sat until it expired. Of course i eventually threw it out. Years go by (Clearly), I tell myself that Im going to try it again. I find these on here and grabbed some to try. I wasn't sure what to expect going in after my previous experience with this brand, but I must say that i like these a lot. They aren't overly sweet like the shots were. They dont have that weird taste like the powder did. And they're even better when you refrigerate them. I just ordered some more this morning it should be here sometime today 8/10/23. As far as its actul purpose, i can say that i believe that it works. At least for me it did. I saw a difference in my gains that i wasn't seeing when taking other proteins back when I was heavy in the gym. I had the fruity cereal last time. This time I ordered the vanilla cupcake. Well turns out that a little of those things might be helpful as the taste of this drink is pretty awful. When I first opened the lid, I expected a chocolate smell or something maybe that reminded me of chocolate or even a light hint of chocolate. Well, I was blown away with the smell from the cap that smelled of nothing like chocolate. I can almost describe it as a hint of rotting meat or dead animal smell. It was not pleasant and nothing like beef broth even. I replaced the cap and shook the drink vigorously to mix it up. I gained the courage to take another sniff and while the foul smell dissipated slightly it didn't change over to something I could imagine trying. I mustered up the courage to try a sip. The nose is responsible for quite a lot of the flavor we get when eating. In this case, I held my nose and took a sip as I needed to know if it would taste any better than it smelled. It did not. There was definitely a hint of chocolate in the bottom and I knew I had mixed it well, but the chocolate did little to cover up what my nose had already told me. I did end up opening a couple more just to be sure that it was not a single bottle with the issue and it was not. I could not get past the smell and these found their way into the sink drain.
