I replaced my old cylinder with this one as a like-for-like swap and the whole process was very straightforward. Installation was extremely easy. Literally just remove the retaining screw, slide out the old cylinder, fit the new one, and reinsert the screw. It took only a few minutes with no adjustments needed, which made it ideal for a quick DIY job. The cylinder feels solid and well-made, as you would expect from Yale. The anti-snap 3-star rating gives extra peace of mind in terms of security, and the overall build quality feels reassuringly robust. It also came with a good number of keys, more than enough for my household needs straight away, which was convenient. Great product feels heavy and high quality. Nice tapered screw to help line up when installing. Takes 1 minute max to fit. Slightly turn the key to make the nubbing tuck in and maybe move your door handles up an down like you are gonna lock them and it slides right in.

Easy peasy to fit as replacement. So far so very good. A super upgrade

I was initially impressed with this lock, but when I came to fit it I noticed that the securing thread was positioned slightly lower to my other Yale locks. This meant I had to loosen off all other fittings on the door to get the screw in place. When tightened the lock mechanism wasn't as fluid and easy to use as I expected. Apart from that it's a nice lock and the thumb turn is nice. I needed additional keys and these were obtained from Yale. THe service from Yale was excellent and the keys arrived next day. Overall I recommend the lock and I am happy with the device.

I've been using the three star Yale barrells whenever I need to replace a lock They are good quality and easy to fit. They fit perfectly each time. It looks as though the new version doesn't have the bump on the profile so you don't have to take the door handles off to fit, which is a good development. Happy with these and will continue to buy.

This is a quality item and an easy replacement for the original cylinder. In order to fit it you will need to remove the door handles ( two bolts) and insert the Yale cylinder from the external side of the door. Be aware that the barrel of the lock should not protrude out of the door handle bezel externally so you will have to account for that in your calculations. The measurement shown for this item (50:40) is external 40, internal 50.

Pessima qualità. Movimento poco fluido . Si è bloccato piu volte. Molto al di sotto degli standard di altri cilindri europei Aggiornamento. Dopo i primi utilizzi il problema tende a risolversi. Rimane piu accentuato con una delle 3 chiavi

Lo mejor, todas las certificaciones de seguridad que tiene por su precio y la facilidad de instalación. Lo peor, que no tiene doble embrague (poder abrir aunque la llave esté metida por dentro), que cuesta a veces un poco meter la llave, y qué parece que puede ser fácil de doblarse.

Its probably a great lock but wasn't any good for my yale quattro 3 point locking set up
