Great product to help grass breathe
Light weight & it works. I used it after it rained the Next day in the afternoon . Simple to use machine. I would have a spare socket wrench to use to tighten the bolts. Overall good product for the price

Good quality but hard to use
It is heavy duty and excellent quality product but it is very hard to use because of the side holes , it is very hard to push it in the ground I think I will return it because I donโt have stamina to push it down

Didn't really work all that well, but at least it made holes.
I use this after a two day rain storm to make the dirt a little easier to core. By day 3 when the sky was cloudy and the ground was still damp from the rain, I attempted to use the tool. It went in just fine, then I moved to the next and the same, the dirt core should've come up by at least the third time I pushed it into the ground again, but nothing, so I made a 4th ..no go. So I clean the core tines out and reattempted, same thing happened. No cores were coming through and it was starting to pull up chunks of the compacted soil instead. My thoughts are that the powder coating on the tines leave a rough surface so the dirt gets stuck to it. I got two to make the job a bit quicker while I did the front lawn, a helper could do the back yard which isn't very large, they also had the same problem. So I took some 220 grit sand paper and attempted to take off some of the coating on the tines and the core tines inside and out and then hit it with 400 grit and 1000 to smooth and polish them. Then I sprayed the tines with biodegradable silicone to to dry on and give it a slick coat. While it technically worked for a bit after modifications. It did produce holes. But, it failed to produce the necessary coring the lawn needs for compacted soil.

Great tool. Was skeptical with price. Did a full 800sqft yard with it - no warp
So this tool was actually amazing. If your yard is super compacted you need to soak the yard first. The people whose tools broke either did not water it or they are extremely overweight because I barely watered a highly compacted clay rich soil and the tool had no bend. So yeah I recommend this one. Iโm a sucker for great design so buying something that is low in price is often iffy for me. The tool that comes with it is a bonus. The only part of the design id fix is the rounded out bar you have to push down on into a flat bar. But other than that excellent quality tool. Without breaking the bank. They all come from china anyway might as well save some money.

Cheap, Terrible Product!
I bought this item in June 2024, but I did not use it until today (4/12/2025). As I started using it today, it worked well, and I was pleased with it. However, the longer I used it, I began to have problems. I had to repeatedly tighten the nuts on the four screws because they kept coming loose. So, I took the nuts off and put on lock-washers. That allowed me to go longer without having to stop and tighten the nuts, but it didn't completely solve the problem. I noticed that the bottom 10" of the device began to try to bend as I put my foot down to drive it into the ground. Tightening the nuts helped to some degree. THEN, after about 2 hours of use today, the handle down near the prongs broke completely in two!!! That was unfixable!! The metal is thin and cheap, and this is worthless. I tried to find a way to contact Hersche, but there is no trace of it anywhere. I tried to contact the Amazon customer service to find out how to contact the company, but that is an exercise in futility. I strongly suggest that you not buy this product based on my experience today.

Works fine
Feels sturdy. I like that it does some aeration and some coring. Obviously you are not going to cover much area by doing10 inches at a time. Works fine for small spots. The coring pegs do fill with dirt that is difficult and annoying to remove. If I tried to use it for a long time to cover more area, I would definitely get a bruise on my knee from hitting the handle. Works great for small areas and is easy to use, but certainly not perfect

Not worth it
Not efficient as we thought and if not using properly it might result into injury
