Great for a Sheltie!
My sheltie loves this cooking mat! He gets really hot in summer because of His double coat and it’s a great way for him to cool down after walks too. I think it’s fab that it comes with the portable dog bowl too! Very good value for money! My dog is a scratcher and a chewer and so far we’ve had it for a few days, he’s scratched it a bit but doesn’t seem to have any desire to chew it! So I’m very pleased and think it’s quite durable!Great product.

Good price. Good quality. Shame about the dog
Brought this in the summer for our dog who likes to lay on the tiled floor to cool off. We thought this would be more comfy for him instead unfortunately the dog had other ideas and has never used it. What can you do! Short of walking over it to get to the tiles the dog was not intrested. Shame as it stays cool for ages and seems well made. In short im glad it was pretty cheap as its never been used.

Mat good, free bowl - too small
Dog will only go on it at night but does the job and stays cool. The travel bowl - fine for a little dog, but great big woofers like mine it's one sip and done. Although my dog was actually scared of the bowl so couldn't even get him to take a sip!

Great product, a must have in hot weather.
Had a similar type of mat before which burst while playing with our dog. This one seems a lot more robust as it has a strong 'fabric' type sleeve which the gel pads actually are encased in. Our dog got used to the other one so uses this one just the same. It really is a god send in warm weather.Our dog is a 27kg collie cross, and (if she isnt being a bit weird like all dogs can be and only uses half of it) she fits on it perfectly.The free bowl is a lovely added bonus and really useful for trips out or weekends away.

Bit small
Product did what it said but I felt a bit mislead regarding my perception of the size. It shows a labrador type dog sitting in the middle of it with loads of space around. It is actually really quite small and no way would fit a labrador in the middle. Maybe the illustration is for a larger size but I thought I ordered large. It is pretty small, better for a jack russell. Having said that my german shepherd can lie on it with most of her core centred which is more important than legs and head which are trailing on the outside.

Seemed rather thick
This seemed to be a perfect mat to cool down our old girl labrador. Unfortunately she never actually got to try it out 😭. Was thick and seemed better than our last one that was popped by the cat.

If the dog would sit on it she'd probably like it
The product is just as decsribed and arrived promptly. It seems well made and durable and is cool to the touch.The only problem is that our dog is a bit nervous and suspicious of new things. On a hot day I put it down where she normally lies and she sniffed it and lay down elsewhere. I'll leave it there and see if she gets used to it.

excellent product
wouldn't be without this mat, especially in the summer as my dog gets very warm anyway and he loves laying on this mat.really cools him down, I have one upstairs and one downstairs and he uses both, . they are not freezing cold but just cold enough to cool them comfortably. nice to see him relaxed instead of puffing . worth every penny

It works! A must for our doggie during the summer heat.
It is always cooler than the surrounding. Strange but it DOES work!

acheté pour mon malinois en prévision des chaleurs pour l'été prochain , je peux vous dire que cela fonctionne car rien qu'au toucher on ressent le frais, il ne fera pas de miracle mais tiendra au frais de 5 à 10° en dessous de la température ambiante, une fois "réchauffé" par le corps du chien il suffit de le faire bouger quelques minutes pour qu'il retrouve le frais, j'adore et mon chien va l'apprécier à coup sur.il est imperméable si le chien est mouillé mais fonctionne sans avoir besoin de quoi que ce soit, on déballe et on pose ,et le chien s'installe c'est tout .

Anti-canicule
Ce tapis grand chien a été détourné de son emploi d'origine pour devenir un tapis de repos pour les jambes fatiguées et enflées d'une vieille dame !!!! Nous avions cherché chez les humains mais le prix n'était pas "humain" du tout !!!! Comme je vous avais acheté des tapis pour mes chiens et que j'en étais satisfaite nous les avons essayés sous ses jambes et le soulagement à été immédiat !!!!!!!

Oui mais seulement quelques minutes... après c'est à la température du chien. reste l'avantage en voyage de disposer d,un matelas étanche facilement nettoyable et qui permet au chien un minimum de confort.
