Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Battery Case, 6500mAh Rechargeable Extended Battery Charger with S-Pen Hole (Black)

This is a very good battery case for the Note 8 that fits perfectly. Is great for use when I am using the Note 8 for prolonged periods of time like watching a film, using Netflix or watching a football match on the BT Sports / Sky Go apps. I tend to keep my phone at the highest resolution and brightness to get the best out of the display but this does mean the battery gets used up very quickly. So I decided to go for a battery case to keep battery topped up without the need of having to leave the phone plugged in whilst using.Came across this well priced battery case with a USB C connector built in. The phone simply slides in the case and attaches to the USB C connector. There is a on switch at the back, once switched the phones internal battery will start charging using the charge in the case. The Case fits nicely even with a tempered glass screen protector on. The case is well designed so volume keys, the pen slot and headphone jack are easily reachable with the case on. The phone does add some bulk to the phone, 0.8 cm to be exact, and weighs around 170 grams so makes the phone a little heaver. But it has a nice kick-out stand so you can lay the phone horizontally and it will rest on a surface for easy viewing. Very large capacity on the case with 6500 mah almost double the 3300 mah on the phone so you can get up to 2x extra full charge by using this case. Makes this great for travel also as an extra spare battery capacity. You can even use this case to charge other phones or devices, simply plug in the USB charge cable for those devices into the full sized USB port on the side of this case and it will start charging that device. To charge the battery on the case you need to attach the USB C charge cable of you phone into the case USB C charge port at the bottom an it starts charging

These are my hot, initial comments based on using the RUNSY Battery Case for about 3h.The Good:+ packaging looks impressively nice–would be great as a gift+ installation is dead simple and takes seconds+ handset sits really snuggly and securely in the cover+ cover aligns very precisely with the screen and all the cutouts are really very precise+ case looks and feels like an expensive, premium quality product+ back of the cover has nice, satiny surface which is more grippy than glass+ thickness of the cover makes it easier to use the fingerprint sensor–provides much needed, additional tactile feedbackThe Bad:- the kickstand in the back feels flimsy and doesn't stay in position when extended- bearly enough stability when using the kickstand–it should be placed more central- the full–size USB port (side) is too exposed–a flap or cap should be included- it's very hard to take the S–Pen out. You'll need thin fingers and nails to scrape it out- 8h (declared) to charge the cover fully is very longThe "it depends":± the cover is heavy and thick (about 3x the thickness of the Note 8). It will make it look and feel like a brick. Personally, I prefer it this way.± operating the power, volume and Bixby buttons will require more force and will be less precise. Problematic if you use power double–press camera shortcut. On the other hand, accidental presses are less likely and also the buttons are protected from dirt.The "I don't knows":? I'm yet to see what is the real performance and durability of the battery...

Great case to squeeze a bit more life out of my ageing note 8. Just 1 fault you cant charge the phone and case together. I have read the instructions and the questions amd answers section but the button on the back does not start the phone charging while the case is plugged in. It only charges the case. Still I can live with it. Overall a nice battery case and I'm starting to get used to the extra thickness. Love the usb port on the side to charge another device. Wasnt sure I'd use it but been great for charging up my e cig if I forget over night.

Worked once then refused to charge again

Great battery case, Love the battery capacity, (maximum i have seen on amazon) and simplistic design , easy to install with perfect slotting for bottons and spen. Stand is quite useful but what makes it special is its ability tk indicate lels of charge level and a button to start/stop charging. Excellent product design , I am very pleased with my purchase

Had this case for 9 monthsGreat to top up the old Note 8 Battery and get it to last longer, I get about 1.2 Charges.The pull out stand is great when you are watching videos.The phone is easy to charge in the case, great for over night charging.The case holds the phone in place and doesn't grab the screen so the touch screen still function on the curved screenWorth while purchase

The note 8 is a great powerful phone downside battery life lucky to last the day. This battery pack extends life a couple of days.Pros: protects great: can use phone for 3-4 days without charging: makes the phone easier to hold and take pictures: can charge phone while charging the case by pressing the charge button at the back: charges phone in 2 hours roughly, case takes 8 hours to chargeCons: hard to get out case to charge: makes phone heavier
