Great item, worth every penny!
Flask works as described, i had my doubts as some people gave bad reviews. Evidently they are wrong or they did not use it properly.I use it daily, and evry day my food is almost as i put it in there in the morning. Two things only to remeber, preheat with boiling water for like 1-2mins is enough for me and close the lid properly to seal it.To be specific:I use food either prepared before i go to work ( office) or the previous night and warm it in the morning before i put it in the flask. My times so that you can compare; i put the food in the flask at 7am, and i eat at 1pm. Thats 6 hours and the food is piping hot allways when i preheat the flask with boiled water from the kettel for a minute or two, and satisfyingly hot if i dont preheat. Basically if its soup, you want to preheat it as nothing beats a boiling soup. If its like veg, or meat you can eat it just warm so dont bother with preheating. My tried food is;Grilled pork chop, without preheating its still very warm its always steaming (i cut it into pieces and put it in the flask as the opening is only like 10cm wide) its also much easier to eat as i dont want to get my suit dirty whilst cutting up food.Boiled broccoli and other mixed veg, without preheating is eatable, but i prefer it boiling hot so i preheat it and its allways perfect.Rice without preheating is warm, but because its a dry food it doesnt hold much heat so if you prefer it boiling hot, preheat the flask and its fine.Mashed potatoes, with no preheat warm, with preheat, boiling.Grilled chicken, without preheat i dont recommend, with, perfectly boiling hot.Pasta, again because its a dry food, if you prefer it boiling you must preheat, but its ok for me without the preheat.Soup. Mentioned above. Also one more thing, i usually leave the flask in the car as its sealed properly (unlike others i tried) so it doesnt stink the car out. And its usually warm weather, but even now in the winter or some days i take it in the office with me and leave it on my desk, there is almost zero difference in the warmth of the food inside.Oh and a little guideline i believe applies, if you are not going to be filling the flask up say above 3/4 then the food obviously doesnt stay as worm as a lot of enthalpy (heat) is lost to the flask itself. So prefer the smaller sized one. Im a big hungry boy so the 0.8 l is more than enough. I dont manage to finish all my pasta, soup or rice as it fits too much. So if you dont eat that much think about what size suits you, as size matters :)

Thermos at it's very best.
Purchased this as a replacement for my Son who was consistently trashing conventional glass bulb flasks in the course of running his business.Have known Thermos for many many years when they were based in Brentwood in Essex, and were very well known for producing top quality product. Nowadays all their product seems to be made in China, but don,t let that put you off because this still retains the quality Thermos reputation. Keeps hot drinks at a really good hot temp for up to 8 hours, although it is equally suitable for cold or hot food, we have not tried that as yet. Stainless materials with a pull out synthetic carry handle. Decent size outer stainless cup with smaller inner plastic cup. Sealing top plug and large sealing ring that can be removed when flask is filled with hot or cold food. Very easy to clean both inside and outside, although warning about total submersion in water, and no mention about putting in a dishwater, but I really would avoid that. Top tip would be to fill for a couple of inches with fresh boiled water and let it stand for around 5/10 mins, give it a swirl and tip that water out prior to filling flask with a hot drink. Have found that a pre-warmed flask keeps contents hotter for longer. Instruction leaflet pushed inside it is miniscule so you may need a mag glass to read it. Also do give this a wash in wash up liquid prior to first use, just to take off any factory treatment for shipment. All in all, very impressed with this flask, might be more expensive than some other similar type flasks, but this is Thermos quality.

Great flask
Sturdy flask with removable top to use for soup and makes easy to clean. Smaller opening in top part easy for liquids. I fill it up with boiling water first thing in the morning and make my coffee etc from it during the day. It was still hot at night. The locking cup is a good size and it has an extra cup on the inside. The silver and black outside is stylish. I would recommend. It came quickly too.

Good flask
Overall a very good flask, holds a lot of water and keeps it hot for well over a day.It loses a star because the stopper is flimsy and not very robust. It needs to be tightened very carefully, otherwise the flask will leak.

Have to get used to the ‘issues’ others found.
With the rising energy prices and working from home, being an avid coffee drinker I thought I’d invest in a large thermos to remove then need of boiling the kettle 6-8 times a day. It has definitely served its purpose. The kids take some getting used to. You don’t need to over tighten them as that seems to be what makes a mess of the rubber seals. The pouring spout only needs 1 full turn to undo it and then the liquid will pour slowly out - there is no way to speed it up unless you fully remove the spout but then you need to realign it etc - not worth doing. The outer cap/cup is also insulated so worth putting back on.I have had hot coffee out of this well over 8 hours after filling - without tempering the flask.Obviously the more that’s in there, the hotter it stays for longer. All in all, it’s been perfect for working from home or full days out.Well recommended!

Totally fantastic. Money well spent!
It is very awesome. My wife put food in at 6:30 am. I ate some of the food at 12:00 noon by the way it was very hot. The flask was open for about ten minutes. I left the rest of the food in the flask and at 4:15 pm in the evening open the flask thinking it was cold, to my suprise the food was warm. I could not believe it. I bought two more for my kids. the best flask in the world!

Wide bottom ensures stability
I bought this as a replacement for my older one which was tall and hence tended to fall often and I am happy that this new one is stable because of its wide bottom.

Super !
